## What is Standard Freight Corp?

[OVERVIEW]

Standard Freight Corp. is a deeply systemic, zero-friction idle simulation. You are the newly appointed Director of interstellar logistics. Your mandate is simple: build trade routes, acquire massive industrial fleets, and navigate the hostile interstellar politics of the 22nd century.

This is not a space combat simulator. You do not pilot ships. You manage the ledger, align with factions, and let an advanced AI narrator document the history your decisions create.

[OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES]

>> DEEP LOGISTICS ENGINE: Manage a catalog of 26 distinct ship blueprints across four classes. Assign 900-ton Mammoth haulers and stealth escorts to optimized trade corridors across Sol, Proxima, Barnard’s Star, and the frontier volumes.

>> PERSISTENT SIMULATION: A robust tick-engine simulates route progress, propellant burn, and cargo yields whether the terminal is active or offline.

>> AI-DRIVEN CONSEQUENCE: Powered by a live LLM integration, your corporate posture (Force, Shadow, Order, Zeal) directly alters the game world. Every generation, the AI authors a unique Chronicle and adjusts global market demand based on your specific playstyle.

>> CORPORATE ESPIONAGE: Deploy stealth vessels to monitor, disrupt, or sabotage rival corporations. Balance profit against Global Trade Commission (GTC) heat.

>> THE GRAND MANDATE: Evolve from middle management to a galactic superpower. At Generation VI, transition to the Syndicate Command layer to build military complexes, declare holy war, and deploy armadas in 2-bit skirmish simulations.

[THE LEDGER NEVER STOPS]

The galaxy is vast. The margins are thin. Your compliance is profitable.

### 2/5 — I'm not really sure what I'm doing

*2026-07-15, version 3.8*

I really want to like the game but I honestly don't have any idea what's going on.

### 2/5 — Good - but	…

*2026-07-11*

The game is quite extensive, lots of aspects for gameplay and high replay value… However, playing on iPad Pro(M5) iOS26+ and there are several UI issues… No way to report bugs, so once you get to Gen 5 the game becomes virtually unplayable/unprogressable…

### 5/5 — Great Game, Great Service

*2026-07-11*

This game is a lot of fun. I really enjoy the faction mechanics and the choice based destiny. It is very easy to scale, which can feel as if you haven’t earned anything, but expanding in the game is not blocked by a pay wall or an impossible grind.

The void in particular is a very cool chapter of the game. Definitely keeps the game interesting without spoiling it.

The customer service of this developer is incredible. I had run into a bug and was unable to open the game. I sent an email and they were incredibly responsive. They took my bug data, fixed the issue, and put out an update in less than 24 hours.

This is worth a play for sure.

### 3/5 — How do deep hauls work

*2026-07-06, version 3.3*

I just entered Gen 5 and my money took a massive hit, I went from second highest corp to the bottom in 30 minutes. Also every deep haul I send out loses me massive amounts of money

### 4/5 — Pro, Cons, Suggestions

*2026-07-05*

Good little quality idle logistics game. Looking forward to any future developments.

Pros:

Clean UI
Feels Future Corporate
Doesn't need to he baby sat
Retro-future feel
Good sounds effects
Good art aesthetic
Strong ideas

Cons:

Player essentially cannot fail
Tutorial is a relatively minimalist
Routes feel one way
Pay off scales quickly
Conflict with rivals feels abstract

Suggestions:

Consider altering route design so routes do outgoing and return items. For example: Food to Titan from Earth, ship returns to Earth for food shipment and brings Helium or some such to Earth. This would add some realism.

Consider scaling back how fast routes scale income. Right now it's exponential and feels a bit too easy to build a freight empire.

Change how sabotage, interdict, monitor etc. operate. Right now you can select to monitor rival routes or interdict cargo etc. many times. It might be better to drop this to one chance to do one option, fail or succeed and change the fail rate. Right now the detected and retaliated against rate feels a bit high or I'm misunderstanding the mechanic.

Improve tutorial. Consider allowing players to outright fail building an efficient empire. Something like: "you've gone bankrupt, start over" maybe. I would consult the rest of the community on this one first though, as some people may prefer building over managing.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the specifics, really appreciate it. Return-cargo routes, flattening the income curve, and reworking the rival-ops (monitor/interdict) so it's a real risk instead of a spammable action are all great ideas - I will work through them. In the latest update there is a hard fail-state later in the game (you can be betrayed and exiled with nothing, then have to claw it all back). Interestingly, there was already a whole arc where you go bankrupt, restart, and your original (named) company becomes your nemesis, I'll trace why that isn't occurring correctly. Thank you again for playing!

### 4/5 — plans to support Chinese

*2026-07-03*

The game looks cool, and I've played a bit of it, but there's a lot of text, making it difficult to focus on the key information on the interface. Are there any plans to support Chinese?

**Developer response:** Simplified Chinese isn't in yet but it is on the list! I'm also cutting down on-screen text density, which should help focus regardless of language.

### 3/5 — Progress Reset

*2026-07-03*

I’ve never actually written a review in my life. I genuinely love this game, I normally don’t like management sim games because of how tedious they can be but the space plot just made it make sense. I sadly happened to have a problem I’ve seen said before of reaching a certain point, crashing multiple times on launch, then finding my progress completely reset. It’s a bummer because I really liked this game 😔

**Developer response:** Really sorry for these crashes. In the current update I've hardened the crash recovery so a few launch errors can't wipe a healthy save, and Settings → Recover Previous Save can restore a save that got reset. If you still have the reset save, try Recover Previous Save. Hopefully works!

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2026-07-03*

This game has a lot of potential as an idle game that isn’t just clicking buttons to increase revenue. The route system, faction system, and other mechanics give the game that little bit of extra depth that a lot of similar games lack. I can definitely tell that this game was made passionately, however, I often get confused when new mechanics are introduced. Currently, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to create an armada in gen 6. A “help” bar in the settings with step by step instructions on how to do things with screenshots would be greatly appreciated. In all, for a single dev, this is a fun and creative game that you should continue to work on.

**Developer response:** Hey thanks for playing! Two fixes in the latest update (now live): the armada bug (Fleet → Strategy was dead unless you'd built a Military Complex, that's now fixed), a Getting Started checklist in Intel will help new players but agree I should add some help tips for the latter game too (I realize Industrial and Armada's in particular are a vague!), I'm on it

### 5/5 — I am gripped

*2026-07-02*

The game is amazing. There are a few frustrating things that I believe will be worked out as the developer expands the game but overall I haven’t been playing it everything chance I get! Biggest request would be to form a community hub such as a discord or Reddit where community could share tips and experiences and also communicate with dev about bugs and feature suggestions!

**Developer response:** I should do that yes, I had been hesitant since (honestly) the game was slow to pick up, but I'm so glad people are enjoying it!

### 3/5 — Fun game but broken

*2026-07-02*

Great game the lore is interesting
Just crashed to home 3x while on gen vi and then progress was gone and im back at the tutorial
Thought it was supposed to be fixed?

**Developer response:** Really sorry about that! Two things: the new update hardens the crash recovery so a few launch errors can't wipe a healthy save, and Settings → Recover Previous Save can restore a save that got reset. I'm going to dig for the Gen-6 crash directly. If you still have the reset save, try Recover Previous Save, hopefully that works. You can also email me direct at hello@boxfort.co if there are any more issues.

The Combine runs the galaxy on paperwork. In 4.4 the paperwork crosses your desk.

THE LONG DISMANTLING
A manifest arrives on the map: who is asking, what the cargo actually is, and a clock. Carry it and stay clean and well paid. Lose it, refuse it, or turn it around, and you start pulling the Combine apart one run at a time. The memos state their business plainly, in the Combine's own cold voice, and leave the rest to you.

FOUR WAYS TO BRING IT DOWN
Starve its tolls, turn its own bureaucracy against it, feed the movement that began with a loader at the Ninth Dock, or arm the revolt. Every choice pours into one of the four, and drives the Combine down a six-age arc from the High Combine to the Fall. What replaces it is decided by what you chose to carry.

RESPOND, OR YOU'RE COMPLICIT
A waiting manifest sits on the Combine control. Answer it, or let the clock run out and the run clears on the default. Inaction is a choice the Combine is happy to make for you.

THE ALMANAC
How you stood against the Combine is sealed into a shared record, and the galaxy you are born into carries the deeds of the commanders who came before.

WAR, REDRAWN
Theater Command and the War Theatre are rebuilt as proper command screens: your formations, the fleets moving against them, and your fronts.

FIXED
Winning the Return no longer loses your frontier charter. It comes home with every toll it collected while you were in exile.
