Several issues. As so many lazy programmers do, cut the crap with the lack of description of what, if anything you idiots tried to fix in an update. Be specific, because those generic ‘bug fix’ is not just getting old, it is also insulting. 
Next issue- the app is very slow to load, and even slower to log in and actually BE USABLE. Isn’t that the whole point of an app - end-user functionality??? Or did you hire the recently fired zombies from FB?
Next issue - the text search is worse than useless - the app is trying to search for matches ON EVERY KEYSTROKE!!! Slow response does not even begin to describe it. And, since there is no functional ’type-ahead’, text searches are an exercise in futility. 

Last - don’t insult me, or any other review with the canned reply that you are looking into it - just DO IT!!!

Thank you for letting me place an order in “guest mode” so I don’t need to sign up for yet another account. I’m not a business, I don’t order from you every week.

It would be even more convenient if you would integrate with Apple Pay, so I don’t need to manually fill in my credit card and billing address. 

Also, what’s with that red chat bubble that pops up on EVERY screen, right in the middle? Put it somewhere in a corner where it doesn’t cover up what I’m trying to buy.

It’s a terrible app, the keyboard lags and half the items I try to buy are not available. My rewards don’t show up half the time. I end up using the desktop version to get stuff because it lets me. Honestly feels like this is just staples jumping on the band wagon of harvesting personal data. 10 years too late. If you do down load this app, turn off tracking. Only positive is the weekly coupons but even then they aren’t really that great. I can’t even submit a print order, I have to use the website. This app needs a ton of work, like actually effort put into it.

Placed my first order with staples online. After the credit card was charged, but before being able to see the confirmation number/receipt, I was FORCED THROUGH NO LESS THAN FIVE SCREENS to decline additional stuff!!!!   Warrantee was not one of them mind you. 

That space between the card being charged and the receipt soured the first impression. Has that happened prior to charging the card the sale would have been lost. Terrible cheap tactics.

I was trying to print out some flyers and some art prints and postcards and the website and the app all have the circle of death and then say gateway timed out. Not only that but every time i close browser, refresh screen, or even try to power circle devices it still doesn't get me to the checkout page. Ive been trying to get something printer for over 4 hours now this is a total inconvenience and horrible expirience definitely lost me as a customer for sure.

This app looks nice but you can’t swipe to go back (!!!), the back button when it’s visible, is all the way at the top and will move around to different positions, sometimes it doesn’t work and won’t take you back further and sometimes it’s not there at all!! On top of that, this “app” is clearly just a wrapped web view and it shows unfortunately. It’s so bad you can see the horizontal scroll bar appear at times (it clearly shouldn't) in this “web view”.

The app pretty much only works as a price checker or rewards card access at this point.

When logging into your account, if you try to do any account reset options (resetting password, etc), it sends you a confirmation link to your email. That’s fine. But then clicking the link takes you back into the app…. Which then doesn’t have anything to help you complete the reset process.

There isn’t a visible way to check order status from the account screen in-app. If you click the link in the order confirmation email, it redirects you through to the app, which again then has no helpful information. I had to delete the app in order to use the Staples website on my phone, which more than defeats the purpose of having the app.

**Developer response:** We apologize for the inconvenience and are working diligently to correct this issue. Version 14.0 is now available with an updated user experience.

Great idea, poor execution. Spent twenty minutes choosing a pick up store after selecting a store 6 minutes away as MY STORE. They wanted me to drive 1,000 miles to Massachusetts. A fine state and above average store, no doubt. Why was it so difficult ?
I had to enter my address and card information three times. Not that it was rejected, just wanted me to exercise my typing skills. Just what this cranky 73 y.o. man doesn’t need. Seriously ?

I wasted an hour trying to order toner OR order toner for curbside pickup. I kept running into dead ends or dead links. I finally called two stores and spoke to a real, live person, who checked stock for me. This will be my future recourse in all cases.  I ended up ordering on line for home delivery in 0-3 days, but was unable to claim the $45 waiting for me in the Rewards section. I have been unable to access these rewards when paying in person at a store location as well.

If your looking for an app where you can make shopping online quick and painless your in the WRONG place. The categories are so jumbled up that your spend 4x longer looking for anything that you need then you ever should. And searching for a specific product is even worse because the results give you every product available that has any one part of what you searched. I looked up DJ equipment and had microwaves and tv stands in my search results. The apps just like the store itself a joke and a giant waste of time.
