While other apps try to tempt you with an ad-free experience for a few dollars, I’d much rather support an app that is already ad-free. I have no problem dishing out three times as much to keep it that way. Thank you so much for a fantastic app, clean UI, and an honest and true ad-free experience. The only suggestion I could think to make, if updates are ever a possibility, would be to make a level map like popular sudoku apps do, but with how many levels are available, it certainly doesn’t detract from the experience any. Initially the easy puzzles were fairly easy but the hard and expert puzzles were impossible without brute force trial and error. After playing the easy puzzles for several months I learned enough that the hard puzzles were getting solvable. I then spent a year solving the hard puzzles over and over again until relatively recently when I graduated to the expert puzzles. Just finally bought the expert expansion and I can generally solve any of those. Many seem quite easy now. I love puzzlers, and this one is the best. It’s not the most complicated, the most challenging, and it doesn’t have the best graphics. But it doesn’t need any of that. It is casual brain exercising at its finest. Whether it’s late at night or in the middle of the day, I can count on this game to keep me entertained! I can no longer start a new game without being asked to purchases new levels. I assume it’s because I already solved all the original ones but at least give me a way to reset or something instead. Ironically, I’d likely buy the new levels if it wasn’t so hostile about buying them. It’s really put a bad taste in my mouth. ### 2/5 — Star Battle - No Color *2023-07-07, version 2.3* It’s just black and white. Maybe I missed something..? I downloaded this for the color I saw on an android but no dice! In app purchase levels far too easy! *2021-11-02, version 2.1* I’ve really enjoyed the base game - the levels followed a good learning curve through easy, hard and expert. When I’d done the majority of all available levels I brought the complete extra level pack but all of them were ridiculously easy. Even expert levels took only a few minutes to complete. I got so bored of doing the new ones that I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it and started working my way through the original levels again. Now the hard and expert levels are taking me a long time again as they’re actually hard and I’m enjoying the challenge again! ### 3/5 — Fun but *2021-03-08, version 2.1* This is the sort of logic puzzle I love, simple and satisfying. The new swipe-to-block gesture makes it even easier to play. My only disappointment is the number of times I’m seeing the same puzzle come up as I work through the packs. Then I only keep getting 5 or so of the same puzzles. This app is great. I love the puzzles-no time pressure, no ads, no tracking. It’s a basic app that does one puzzle and does it well. I purchased the full pack of all levels before completing the free ones. The value for the money spent is high with this one if you’re an avid puzzler. I love that I can zip through the easy puzzles when I want a break from the harder ones. I can turn on the wand in settings to check if I (or my cat) bumped something, then turn it off again so I don’t rely on it or accidentally tap it. There are links to three levels of tutorials in the app as well. The number of entertainment hours available for the price makes it a great value. ### 5/5 — The best game ever, but why is the subscription so easy? *2024-10-26, version 2.3* I came here to leave a 3-star review because after I bought the extra expert puzzles they were so easy. You didn’t put the effort to make them as good as the free ones. They are not half as good as them. Expect for this, this is by far the best mobile game that I have played. The free puzzles were amazing. So, I could not get myself to give you a three star review. I love this game. Please show us respect by making the paid ones as good as the free ones. I love your game.
