StarCommand is easily one of the best games you can STILL get on mobile. It has a great story, lots of drama in the battles, and interesting game mechanics. One thing to note at the beginning: you have to build out your rooms. The game doesn’t explain that you click on a room and then spend tokens to build/upgrade.

Got to be my most replayed game I just wish there was more content, but it’s a work of art and I love it. All I ask for is an updated version for newer phone displays 🙌. Aside from that it’s like having a good gameboy game on a phone. ADD MORE MISSIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the game is better than I expected. I’m hooked. after the iOS 18 update, though, it doesn’t play sound on iPads. the sounds and music are a big part of the game, so that definitely needs worked out.

The game mechanics and scenarios you face are fun. But I was expecting a little more story and depth to the game. There are no playable large ships, and the story just repeats itself over and over. I was expecting a little more depth from this game.

Played this 10 years ago and was a great game. Revisited recently and still is. Could be so much better. The amount of story expansion that could happen is unreal.

Pro:
- einfaches Gameplay
- Dialoge können größtenteils ignoriert werden
- Spiel ist nicht zu schwer

Contra:
- die Komplexität ist gering, es gibt einfach zu wenige Möglichkeiten 
- das Spiel ist sehr leicht, in 2 Tagen durchgespielt
- die Story ist sehr linear, nur wenige Sidequests
- Dialoge und Textsequenzen nerven
- nur ein Unlock erkennbar (mittelgroße Schiffe)
- die Minispiele bei den Waffen nerven extrem 

Das Dpiel fühlt sich wie eine misslungene Kopie von FTL an.

I bought this game a long time ago. But I still redownload it and replay it. After going through the story so many times there’s not much of the game to surprise me. But I will say it is just fun. There plenty going on. The upgrades are rewarding. The mini games built in to combat are fun. The art style is well done. The controls are intuitive. It’s just a well done little game. 

I appreciate seeing the dev still tending it and keeping it working and available in the App Store. I heard rumor there was going to be a second one some day. Maybe it’s too late to hope for that, but I still appreciate this one and consider myself a loyal fan. 

If you’re thinking of buying this game, I say do it. I am so glad I did.

It’s far from perfect but it’s fun, after you beat all the missions all you can do is restart. It’s as abandoned as my dad leaving but it’s till fun

It’s great to see that this game has been updated and hasn’t died out. I’m coming back to it just for the nostalgia, I really wish they would make a part two or add to the existing story.

I thought it would be more of a strategy game, but it’s mostly reflexes. You have to be able to tap quickly and accurately. That leaves me out.  Other than tapping, there isn’t really a lot to do.  There is a LOT of grinding and repetition.

The game is no longer updated and still has some bugs. There is not that much to do and the whole game can be beaten in a day.  I had fun for that whole day, but probably not worth most people’s time.

Should have listened to poor reviews.  While there is a potentially great concept here…the awkward, repetitive, and agonizing slow game play kills it.  Played for 6 engagements and couldn’t do anymore…akin to watching paint dry.

La frase che ci siamo sentiti dire tutti quanti, generazioni di fancazzisti che avrebbero potuto fare di meglio tra i banchi di scuola. Questo gioco è come noi: il gioco è fighissimo, bilanciato, entra nel dettaglio in modo intrigante ma non esagerato, ha una trama intricata e mozzafiato ma con l’aura d’ironia e auto sarcasmo per non renderlo troppo pesante. Una perla, un piccolo capolavoro, un grande potenziale che potrebbe svilupparsi in una saga grandiosa che si sviluppa su tante piattaforme e che ho personalmente più è più volte finito in diverse fasi della mia vita. Una stella dopo tante auliche parole? Ebbene sì. Abbiamo aspettato per anni che la storia proseguisse con un aggiornamento. Ho seguito giorno dopo giorno, mese dopo mese se, tra le astronavi sbloccabili il “cOMiNg sOoN”, ma dopo parecchi anni niente, deludente quanto la versione spin-off per pc. Eh vabbè, non sono questi i drammi della vita, ma sicuramente questa società di programmazione è *higly delusional*, uno SCAM sentimentale.

I remember playing this game when it was free on my kindle fire HD (I was like 4) and playing it again was bringing memories of its style and uniqueness. The only thing I could ever wish for is more updates and active support. Love the game<3

This game is so amazing. I love the art style,gameplay, and overall feel. But there isn’t enough content. I’m always so disappointed when an amazing game like this ends shortly. I love the story mode but you should totally add other content. Like a multiplayer aspect where you can fight other people’s ships. Even a non storyline aspect that doesn’t end would be amazing. I just wanted to give you an idea for a game that has the potential to be extremely popular and lucrative. I just hope you see the potential of your own game.

I have been playing this game off and on for years now and it has always made me smile. The only thing I wish for is more content I’ve played every difficulty and beaten it on black hole more times than I can count. I at least want the large ship that always teased when you reset maybe a couple of more missions too I know it’s asking a lot but I’ve always loved this game and there’s nothing else quite like it on mobile sincerely a dedicated fan.

Had to write this one! Best game ever made seriously. Even if ya dont like star wars or star trek ya dont have to. Its simply just intricate and fun. We need a new game, Maybe with PVP, Alliances, Etc. Turf wars for galaxies like for territory against other alliances. So mych potential. Please give this game a try.
