StarDroid is a 2D top-down sci-fi action adventure shooter game

The game is set in the future, of course, and has a lot of unmanned spaceships that are drifting around aimlessly around the galaxy, thus causing chaos for space traffic. Your mission, as a robot, is to board these spaceships and destroy them in order to save the galaxy's traffic. Are you up to the task?

Ein schönes Spiel, was an den typischen Shooter erinnert. Und das Ganze auch noch offline. Auf dem Mamma Mia gab’s da als Alien Breed.. hab mich daran stark erinnert.

wer Alien Breed und Chaos Engine auf dem Amiga gespielt hat, wird diesen Shooter sofort lieben! nicht zu frustig, nicht zu easy, superhübsche retro grafik und witzige figuren. sofort durchgespielt!

This was a fun game, however it shines more as an puzzle/exploration game than as a combat game. It could benefit from more variety in things to discover and puzzles to solve. Traditional Zelda-Esque level building methods would apply well here. I had to restart several levels because I apparently unlocked doors in the wrong order.

Later in the game it degenerated into more tedious combat rooms and less puzzles. The combat also isn’t very challenging and mostly consists of taking pot shots from far away. Your range exceeds the enemy bullet range. Would also be good if enemies aimed at your current trajectory rather than your location. It would also be fun if the enemies felt more like a ship security system, locking down rooms, appearing out of walls, etc...

Would be fun if there were more elements to explore or even a story to each ship. 

Near the end of the game the difficulty jumped dramatically. Or maybe it’s because I ran out of money and couldn’t buy armor anymore. When it turns into dying over and over it’s not as fun.

This game reminds me of classics like Paradroid and Alien Breed. Controls are perfect and the graphics and level design only add to the overall retro experience. Thanks and kudo to the developers and programmers. Can we have  more levels and perhaps and puzzle mini game system like paradroid please...👍

Per me che sono cresciuto col Commodore 64 giocando a Paradroid è un must, un gioco semplice ma molto divertente, scorrevole e mi riporta negli anni ‘80.

Nach kurzer Eingewöhnung will man von dem Spiel kaum noch loslassen. Tolle und einfache Steuerung, keine nervige Werbung oder aufdringliche Aufforderung „Coins“ zu erwerben. Insgesamt ein tolles Retro-Spiel!

Keine Ahnung, wo die begeisterten Bewertungen herkommen. Das Steuerkreuz ist mal da, dann nicht. Ständig schießt man ohne es zu wollen und fahren tut das Ding nur, wenn es will. Hab schon im Intro den Roboter in Rente geschickt.
