My wife got admitted on 4th july 26 due to type 1 respiratory failure and pneumonia. she had to stay in hospital for 9 days. Today she got discharged and surprisingly i didnt have to pay a single penny out of my pocket. The decision to buy health insurance from Star health proved to be the right decision. The cashless claim settlement was smooth and effortless. The support they provided is highly appreciated and i am thankful to Star Health insurance for sponsoring my wife’s treatment and stay at the hospital. Their sales executive provided misleading information to convince me to make the payment. However, during the verification call, the policy details were changed without properly informing me. Even after I raised my concerns, no one took responsibility or provided a satisfactory resolution. The policy was issued despite my objections and without addressing the discrepancies. When I questioned the executive, instead of resolving the issue, I was simply told to cancel the policy if I was unhappy. This experience gave me the impression that the primary focus is on achieving sales targets rather than providing honest and transparent service. While I was purchasing the policy, I could even hear the manager pressuring the sales executive to meet a specific target for the day. Such pressure appears to encourage executives to make misleading promises just to close sales. Overall, my experience was disappointing due to misleading communication, poor customer support, and a lack of transparency.
