The app doesn’t work. Cannot connect TSP100III despite multiple attempts and hunting for info. What a waste of time ugh.

They claim to have “hold print” functionality.  We have a dozen of these. The app says it’s enabled but the function doesn’t work.  Tech support literally says “it’s not supposed to work even if the app says it’s enabled”.   Just unreal.  And don’t even get me started on their WiFi modules.  THEY DONT EVEN ALLOW SYMBOLS!  We had to create a separate SSID just for our printers. Even then, they drop connection constantly.  Setting them up in the app is one of the least intuitive things I’ve ever encountered.  It’s just a shame.

The lack of support for a printer we have barely had for 2 years is truly awful. They replaced the old utility app for the TSP100III with this garbage and it just flat-out will not recognize the printer. I bet everyone at this company smells bad too.

I bought the printer and it said Bluetooth but I done downloading all the app and paid for one of them and still can’t print anything from my iPhone , the worst part it’s that I call costumer service today 01-02-24 around 1pm and ask for help and they have no idea of how can they help me print neither and I kept asking and the dude hang up the call on me saying there is nothing I can do for you and you do your research in your own ..
We just manufacture it now I have to pack it up and ship this item back to them …
If there was a 0 star I would rate them minus 0 
DO NOT BUY TRUST ME DO NOT AND IF YOU DONT BELIEVE THE REVIEW CALL THEM (848) 216-3304 AND ASK HOW CAN YOU PRINT THRU BLUETOOTH AND THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU ..

What do you expect from a company who confuses everyone with the way they name their products. I hate this brand, literally hate! I have bought 3 types of their receipt printers… Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc and all have one thing in common… piece of garbage. Never again

Honestly, very disappointed with STAR. Tried calling the tech support team and they tell me they don’t know why the printer wont connect to the app… it’s your app and printer, how do you not know?
