This is a superb app for learning scales.  It clearly shows each of the shapes as whole screen rather than trying to cram the whole fretboard onto the screen. It is therefore viable to use whilst playing the guitar, which after all is the whole idea. There is a wide selection of scales, most of which you will never want to use, but the favourite pentatonics are there. However, where are the natural minor , major , dorian and myxolydian?

The description says the developer is celebrating and this is free which is great if you want to see Mongolian pentatonic scales etc. Otherwise you have to purchase the upgrade.
