But no way to update. Tried reinstalling game same problem. The only way could get it to work before was defeat all save data and everything but don’t want to start from scratch yet again. It's fun to fight with characters from all the shows. However, it's very grindy and repetitive, with the saving grace being 4x speed and an auto combat mode. I doubt I'll stay interested for long. Stats are too opaque, plus I've lost both gear upgrades and mats for unclear reasons. I can't even tell whether I did something wrong or encountered a bug. Survival mode sucks because the characters are random, not ones I want to work on. It takes a long time to get to the opportunity to reset too. PvP seems to be battles against another player's team run with AI, not a lobby with actual PvP. The game is included with Arcade so there's nothing to lose playing for a while, but don't expect anything too engaging. ### 1/5 — Nostalgia *2026-06-06, version 1.0.21* This game contains many objects from episodes that no longer exist. The Croft background from mid 70’s cartoons is a good one for us old trekkies. The Caliban sitting there. Those Klingon long barrel pistols were retired around the time the bloopers aired. The Russian base was seen on 60 minutes also in 1974, I believe, paristroika. The jungle was burned on TV, shots shown in other content that wasn’t Star Trek like National Geographic. Those shots of those farms were also probably in Russia, those silos were also on 60 minutes. The bugs however hurt the experience with things like frequent visual glitches and not being able to upgrade characters unless I restart the game. A lot of QoL is needed too, UI buttons in weird spots, scrolling through character selection can accidentally put them in the party or switch apps, trying to select characters during combat is awkward and can result in incorrect targeting. ### 3/5 — Я ждал лучшего *2026-05-05* Русский шрифт поломанный, в нашей стране онлайн не работать без обходов, а ежедневные задания не работают вообще. Баланс поломан, есть герой, который может минимум половину противников убить первым ходом, у него небольшая редкость, каждый третий использует его в пвп, что вообще нечестно. В магазине есть очень редкий биогель, а есть эпический, который всего в два раза больше даёт, и намного больше стоит. Герои за достижения не соответствуют изображениям у достижений, из-за чего я на раннем этапе уже получил двух легендарных героев. Ну и почему-то командиров легендарных целая куча, защитников парочка, учёных и инженеров по одному, а медиков вообще нет. Я понимаю, что слотов в игре 4, но выбор должен быть и среди классов. В итоге есть проходная игра с пошаговыми боями по звёздному пути, которая по ощущениям вне подписки давно бы сгнила ### 3/5 — Игра интересная, но технически оставляет желать лучшего. *2026-04-15* Вроде бы интересная игра для фанатов сериала с любимыми героями, но это первая за долгое время игра, которую я вижу в настолько слабом техническом исполнении. 1. Русский язык в игре есть, за это спасибо, но некоторые буквы отображаются другим шрифтом. Из‑за этого читать диалоги неудобно, а визуально текст выглядит отталкивающе. 2. Игра зависает на этапе калибровки экрана на 50%. Иногда несколько дней невозможно войти. 3. При попытке зайти в магазин на корабле игра вылетает на главный экран. Похоже, версия для моей страны плохо оптимизирована. Whole sections of the game are inaccessible now, and no sign of a fix. Very frustrating, as you will need to invest time to get to the enjoyable part of the game, then the glitches will lock you out. It’s amazing! *2026-06-05* I recommend this to anybody who’s never played it. I loved how the game was made a true love letter to Star Trek fans. I beg of you though to either add new characters and storyline or make a sequel or something. I’ve beaten the game and it’s amazing! You guys just did a spectacular job and I can’t thank you enough. That’s why I want more, because you guys totally rocked at making this game. Me personally there’s like five game that made up a period of IOS gaming a couple of years back and this definitely was one of them. Again I can’t thank you enough, for the memories, for the entertainment, and for creating in my opinion probably the best IOS RPG ever. Also ignore what the haters say ok! Don’t let ‘em’ get you down. This is the first Apple Arcade game that I can see playing long term. It doesn’t get updates anymore and has a couple minor bugs that are easily overcome by restarting the game. If you have any interest in any of the shows, characters, history, anything that catches your interest about anything Star Trek, check it out. I read the reviews and I think they aren’t quite on par. It seems that people are looking for a big, huge, triple A, RPG - if you are, then you might not appreciate this game for what it is. Honestly, to me It looks great, it’s funny in points if you know anything about the Star Trek universe, you can speed up battle if you find it repetitive (I take it slow and savor the gameplay), it’s a lot of fun and I think old school turn based RPG gamers who enjoy a nice paced fun and simplistic (I don’t mean as in easy, just not too many unnecessary tactics to complicate the game spending more time learning controls instead of playing the game), can enjoy this. There’s nothing to lose, no additional DLC to buy to play - tif you want a game to chill with at your own pace and see your favorite Star Trek characters, and not be upset when you lose that extra person in your transport party that you knew in every episode wouldn’t come back since they weren’t a main, lol, give it a spin and you just might like it (a lot)! Not bad at all - 4.95 out of 5 stars. I took of .5 just for not having a better inventory system, in my opinion, but it doesn’t detract by any means.
