### 4/5 — Great app

*2023-11-29, version 7.3.0*

Love this app yet can't seem to get updates. Not that the stars and planets are going to change but wrinkles could be ironed out, such as Launch dates for Starlink satellites being shown as the year 1923. 😂

### 4/5 — Duplicate date

*2023-11-04, version 7.3.0*

November 5th has 2 listings for daily events. When you tap one in the second listing it comes up with November 6 date and time.
Is the rest of the month incorrect??? Does this happen other times and this is why I can’t see ISS. Otherwise love this app.

### 2/5 — Don’t waste your money

*2022-11-21, version 7.3.0*

Use SkyView, which is free and much better.
Unfortunately you can’t get a refund with apps.
Buyer beware.

### 5/5 — Always helpful

*2019-08-14, version 7.3.0*

This is a great app for those of us that are newbies!

### 5/5 — Review

*2019-07-17, version 7.3.0*

I don’t understand very much of space but this site amazes me and shows me what is happening.

### 5/5 — Beautiful and useful

*2019-06-11, version 7.3.0*

I’ve been an amateur astronomer for many years...this lovely program would sure have helped back in 1959 or so...not totally accurate sometimes, but it’s dealing with a boatload of data...well done, programmers! 👍

### 5/5 — Star Walk

*2019-05-25, version 7.3.0*

Absolutely love being able to go out at night and look where Star Walk shows events happening or just find constellations in the night sky. Love looking for shooting stars! Aka meteor showers!

### 5/5 — One of my favorite apps

*2019-05-15, version 7.3.0*

I forget when I installed this app on my iPad but after I moved out of the city to a place where I could really see the stars it's become my most used app. I've learned to recognize constellations, observe satellites, notice various asteroid showers, and best of all, track the Milky Way across the night sky. I've even taken up night photography to capture some of the magic myself. I keep the music off so I don't wake anyone. I love this app! Heavenly.

### 5/5 — Always keep...

*2019-04-23, version 7.3.0*

Have always gazed at the night sky and was amazed at the size of the universe. Read many books and articles but Star Walk prompts and information keeps it new.

### 5/5 — Knowledge .

*2019-04-20, version 7.3.0*

Great app. Learned a lot about universes. Masses of stars. Worried about what may turn up soon to our planet after Signals sent by S E T I. Scary stuff. They might even be allready here.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Upgrade or take it off the App Store!

*2023-03-03, version 7.3.0*

This was last updated 4 years ago? Just recently upgraded constellations for 2019? Come on! I was trying to use this tonight. I had my iPad facing north and it kept telling me that it was facing west. I ended up downloading another app to find out what two objects were. I will not download anything else from this developer!

### 1/5 — This IS SO STUPID

*2020-12-21, version 7.3.0*

It’s SO STUPID

### 1/5 — I think I remember when it worked...

*2020-11-28, version 7.3.0*

Would be nice if it was currently capable of identifying the moon when it was pointed at it. Possibly it just ignores timezones like mine as too difficult to handle. Maybe it doesn’t know the time, when it’s told what it is. Whatever. Will just have to find another app that is fit for purpose.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2020-10-30, version 7.3.0*

Downloaded this app and it simply does not work. DO NOT waste your money. Apple Store should really arrange reviews by most recent.

### 1/5 — Star walk

*2019-01-13, version 7.3.0*

This app doesn’t work on my iPad.

### 1/5 — Useless menu

*2018-12-16, version 7.2.5*

Notifies me about events such as comets, then doesn’t show where they are. Stupid.

### 1/5 — Used to be great, app no longer calibrates direction

*2018-09-03, version 7.2.5*

This app used to be so great, you could hold it to the sky and identify exactly what you were looking at. With some update along the way, when you hold the device up, it no longer moves to track where you are pointing (east, west, etc.). Big disappointment.

### 1/5 — Waisted money

*2018-08-16, version 7.2.5*

The app doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Just bought then a new version comes out.

*2018-08-12, version 7.2.5*

I purchased this app. It’s ok, but doesn’t go further than the year 1600 which is useless for biblical applications. Not very user friendly either.

Weeks after I bought this they released a new version that has to be purchased. Crooked business practices for a half done app.

Refund for review change.

### 1/5 — Removed Stars in Rating from Original

*2018-06-24, version 7.2.5*

It used to be easy to use, simply tilt it and go. Now I cannot get that to work!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome satellites!

*2025-03-23, version 7.3.0*

I love how you can see and check out the ISS, but the 1 problem is I cannot see satellites orbits so if you could add that thank you

### 5/5 — Greatest App

*2020-12-22, version 7.3.0*

Seeing Jupiter and Saturn alignment was amazing. This is the best app available. Also enjoyed seeing Santa and his sleigh. Creators must have had fun last night.

### 5/5 — Awesome!!!

*2020-09-19, version 7.3.0*

This app is the best stargazing app I have EVER had! There’s is a time machine and the asteroids and the dwarf planets and the illustrations for the constellations are amazingly amazing! Maybe in the next update you can add the mass and radius of the stars in the Figures section. Maybe you can even add the Large Magellanic Cloud. If you did that would be great! Keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Every minute on this app is EXCITING!!!

*2020-04-27, version 7.3.0*

You're going to love it.
The adjustments are phenomenal!
There's a slide bar to adjust the density of all the stars to see. What that means is you get to blow your mind of all the stars there are mapped, (omg!!!) or you can thin out the ones further away and see what's right in front of you for less confusion...But there's nothing confusing about this app! There's another slide bar for the time clock you can free wheel and see satellites and stars move in their as is orbits. Truly a visual to be seen!!
Day or night, see how to navigate...
There's extra info on stars and satellites when you touch click them.
Get your kids on this app ASAP!
Thank you to all the developers as many times as there are stars, I love this app.
