### 4/5 — Star Wars BATTLE OF HOTH dice would be perfect

*2025-09-09*

Star Wars BATTLE OF HOTH dice would be perfect..
(Outer Rim?)
Any plans ?

Saved Presets should have a fast way to save updated dices ( delete one dice and update the preset) to play with two players on one device in turn . Would be nice to have Star Wars OUTER RIM

### 4/5 — Shatterpoint

*2025-04-20, version 2.0.4*

Please add dice for shatterpoint

### 4/5 — Exact Match to the game dice

*2023-05-22*

Perfect match to the game dice (at least in Armada). However, it could use a landscape mode.

### 3/5 — WAS my favorite

*2023-05-16, version 2.0.3*

This was my favorite dice app till they removed the D4, D8, D12, D20.

### 3/5 — Conexión con otros usuarios

*2021-05-23, version 2.0.2*

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2021-01-12*

One suggestion: the icon for a dark side point should be a hollow circle with dark center. The icon for light side point should be filled in white circle.

### 4/5 — Overall Good

*2020-08-03*

The only two things that are problematic for me:

For the rpg, force pips are inverted. The dark side pips show up as white and the light side pips are dark in the results. I don’t understand why they would do that. It’s confusing.

There is no ability to add results when rolling dice. Some situations generate automatic successes or failures in different systems and it would be nice to include them ahead of time.

Overall though, it’s solid and useful if you don’t have your dice with you or need more than you have on hand.

### 4/5 — Simple and Handy

*2020-03-18*

I primarily play the Star Wars RPG along with Legion. The app is really easy to use and simple; and the roll animation is pleasing to say you’re not rolling real dice!

The only issue is the app is not optimised for the iPhone X/11 display. The titles are obscured behind the camera bezel and the menu icon is inflated. It’s still workable but just isn’t quite the level of polish I’d expect from an app I paid for.

### 3/5 — RPG Missing setback and bonus dice

*2019-08-15, version 2.0.2*

Title says it all. I should get all the dice for the RPG. It’s missing the black setback die and the blue bonus die.

### 4/5 — Problem with force dice.

*2019-04-29*

I can’t seem to find a bug report in the app so I’m doing it here. App works great, but when I roll the force dice, the ‘show results’ function are showing dark side pips as a white circle, and light side pips as a dark circle. I feel like this is reversed and is very confusing. This needs to be fixed. Thank you. (Star Wars Role Playing Game.)

### 4/5 — Its good enough, but could use a little more UI freedom

*2019-03-10*

Basic die roller. Does what it needs to do, most of the time.

Also useful for playing with the basic Genesys system.
I did notice a different to the placement of the faces on the dice, when comparing the basic system to Star Wars, but its all random in the end so its not a big deal - unless you’re massively into chaos theory.

The sounds can get annoying after a while. Thankfully theres always mute!

### 3/5 — Symbol Labels!!!

*2019-01-06, version 2.0.2*

I play a lot of RPGs so I can’t remember what all is what so Including labels under the symbols as an option for new people to the game who don’t know what is what would make this 5 stars for me.

### 4/5 — Feine Sache

*2018-09-10*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — FAKE PRICE It’s not 4.99

*2024-02-23, version 2.0.4*

This app is advertised as $4.99 to buy but when i purchased it it costed over $24. False advertising!!

### 1/5 — Poor Value

*2021-11-07, version 2.0.2*

The Value of this app with the removal of of the standard D20 dice set is staggering. Made it useless for the old West End Games Star Wars game.

### 1/5 — No recomendada para SW RPG

*2019-04-03, version 2.0.2*

### 1/5 — Update ruined imperial assault dice!

*2019-02-08*

There use to be a calculator that calculated the results for imperial assault! Not anymore. Thats the whole reason for the app imo was to make it faster and it even use to look better. The user interface was better before. There is no point might as well use real life dice. Terrible Update!

### 1/5 — Don’t update app ... version 1 had better features ...

*2018-08-30*

Loss of basic D20 standard dice in addition to removal of the sound packages that changed up the rolling. Now dice rolls are and endless monotonous series of a couple robot whistles.

The only update to this was addition of a few background pictures and granting the ability for players to cheat with their dice nudging them to better results. Whether it’s the RPG or a mini skirmish ... cheating in your dice app is not a good feature.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We are dedicated to supporting and improving the Star Wars Dice app with the help of our users. Please note that we have added generic D4, D8, D12 and D20 dice back to the RPG die pool in v2.0.2 and have also fixed some incorrect dice face issues.

### 1/5 — Features removed

*2018-08-28*

I paid for this app a while back when I was running a Star Wars TT game, and have occasionally used it since as just a dice-rolling app.

I’m disappointed to find that in this update that functionality was removed. I understand adding more of the various unique game dice, and I think it looks and rolls well.

But why take away features from a paid app? It’s literally no longer a thing I would have bought.

Bring back standard dice and I’d change my review back up to a 4.

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2018-08-27*

This has been my favourite dice app for years for both star wars and regular RPG, BUT the new version got rid of the regular dice! No more d20, d12, etc. Please bring them back.

### 1/5 — Lost functionality

*2018-08-27*

Thanks, dice roller worked great before the upgrade which removed all the useful features. Since I paid for this can I get what I paid for back, rolling rpg dice just not those for your games. Will try to get a refund good luck selling your games but I won’t buy them.

### 1/5 — 2.0 removed the “fun factor” of 1.0

*2018-08-25*

If there is a way to switch between interface variants, they sure don’t make it easy to find. (I’ve spent 15 minutes scouring “settings” and haven’t found it.)
The 1.0 interface had better options, better default settings, and simulated playing a dice-based game nicely. I especially miss being able to select a sound theme.
Now, I feel like I paid $5.00 for a $0.99 dice calculator with the Star Wars logo.
I think the dev team (or, more probably, the executive that told them they had to change the app completely), “If it ain’t broke... don’t fix it.”

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We are dedicated to supporting and improving the Star Wars Dice app with the help of our users. You can find the "radial menu" interface in the app's settings. This replaces the 2.0 interface that uses static buttons. Please note that we have also added generic D4, D8, D12 and D20 dice back to the RPG die pool in v2.0.2 and have also fixed some incorrect dice face issues.

### 1/5 — Nice look, less useful

*2018-08-25*

I used this app for everything, whether just role playing on the go or at the table to get private rolls while DMing. I understand for lame business reasons you would decide “Our APP is for OUR game” but even if I was only doing Star Wars role play I would need D4s to D20s for random number generation. Why remove functionality??

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We are dedicated to supporting and improving the Star Wars Dice app with the help of our users. Please note that we have added generic D4, D8, D12 and D20 dice back to the RPG die pool in v2.0.2 and have also fixed some incorrect dice face issues.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 1 application pour les réunir tous!!!

*2019-12-06*

### 5/5 — Stellar, Especially After Improvements

*2019-01-10*

The original reason I bought this was to have digital dice for the SW RPG. It was good, but not great. I ended up using other websites for my RPG dice rolling.

I saw there was an update and decided to play around with it. It’s easy to say that I love this app now. You can save presets of dice, which is great. And the fact that you can use generic dice means you can use this for any game. Good to see that flexibility!

The other dice options are also appreciated and makes me want to run Star Wars XWing again. Great job!

### 5/5 — Back to a good app.

*2018-11-28, version 2.0.2*

Thank you for adding the generic dice back to what is a very good dice app.

### 5/5 — Bonne M@J

*2018-09-22*

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2018-09-13*

Thanks added the “regular” dice back in, this has had been my favorite dice roller for any game, now it is again.

### 5/5 — Thanks for updating with improvements

*2018-09-03*

Thanks for adding back in the other dice types. The only other feedback is on the iPhone X the top menu gets slightly obscured, can still click on edit/remove dice but it would be nice to have that lowered a tad. Otherwise great update

### 5/5 — Finally good again

*2018-09-01*

Now that the standard dice are back, I have changed my rating to five stars as promised. This app is now a really good dice app. Thanks Fantasy Flight.

### 5/5 — Dice Removed(Edit: Dice added back)

*2018-08-30*

This was my primary dice rolling app. Now I’m finding a new one after they ripped out a lot of conventional dice(d4,d8,d12,d20). Just because your rulebooks don’t specifically call for those dice doesn’t mean I wasn’t using them, even in those games.

But hey, it’s not like I paid for those features, right?

Edit: Those dice have been added back. My thanks to those working on this app. My rating has been changed to reflect the change and quick response.

### 5/5 — Cool new look, couple of suggestions...

*2018-08-30, version 2.0.2*

The zoom effect used to be handy and cumbersome. Is there any option of adding a slider to help scale the dice to make them larger and allow easier viewing from fritter away? Maybe just by making dice up to 1.5 times bigger this would be handy.
Also please add the option of loading our own images as wallpapers from camera roll.

### 5/5 — What you want.

*2016-12-29*

It's a dice app with FFG Star Wars games dice. It works the way you want it to and costs less than buying an extra set of dice for one of those games, meaning if you play more than one you'll save a lot more money. Comes with normal numbered dice from d4 to d20 as well so it can be used for other games. Interface is easy to use and learn.
