One of the best games that I've ever played. However, it no longer works properly on iPadOS. Characters become frozen for no reason, which halts the game unless it is saved, exited and reloaded - although even that sometimes does not cure the problem. Well basically I landed on kashyyyk in KOTOR and played through normally, after getting Jolee Bindo on my team I passed the force field like normal. When I got to the mandalorians, however, the cutscene that leads to the fight didn’t play. Now I’m stuck watching them fight Rorworr with no way of interacting. And I forgot to save my game so I don’t have any previous save data that I can go too. Horrible navigation on that. Minor bugs and glitches but nothing (unless you never save) can’t be fixed without a quick reload. Amazing to play this on mobile and, I wasn’t expecting perfection by any means because this is a console game but…by god broken controls make me lose my mind. Game consistently freezes after enemy encounters and this is a well known bug. The fix is to load a save file but on a game that requires 30 hours or so to beat, this is not something I want to deal with presumably hundreds of times. ### 1/5 — Abandoned by developers 6 years ago. Unplayable. *2026-06-27, version 1.2.7* KOTOR is buggy and broken in its current state. I could hardly get through the tutorial because of freezing, poor touch registration, and other glitches. The game has a real hard time registering taps and freezes up at most doors. Please make this game playable again. When the game does freeze I can tilt my phone to make the screen slightly move. If I set my phone flat on the counter, these freezes do not happen. Something is wrong with how the game reacts to the the phone tilting and changing angles. Update: I made a new character to see if it would change things. While creating the character I was unable to get my taps to register during character creation. I had to restart a few times. When I finally made it through, I started the game and it froze during the cutscene where Trask enters through the door. I’m stuck staring at the door while the music plays and explosions go off in the background. I haven’t been able to even start the game. ### 1/5 — Micromanagement *2026-06-20, version 1.2.7* This game is not fun for me because it requires you to constantly loot and upgrade your equipment and manage the party. I have played the first and second on console and computer and still own at least one copy of both games. I love having this one in my pocket. I have never had any issues and the great story and replay ability with the huge environments side quests and choices affecting you and those around you only makes it better. Honestly the only 2 bad things I can say is 1. Why can’t you make KOTOR2 available as well? I know it’s been awhile and all but if your ever playing a waiting game for a project to be approved or something please fiddle with making 2 available. (UPDATE: Thanks for making it available!) 2. I know it’s not part of the original game but I would love to see attacks more free form instead of a ordered list. Simply put this is possibly the best game in the store able to be fun for both Star Wars fans and those who are not. I have never loved any game more than this. I just beat it for the first time and had a moment of pure joy. The storyline and plot is amazing, and it’s quite impressive for a game made in its age. Before kotor, i was lost, dejected. All my friends and family had left me, I had nothing to my name— not a cent, and everything i did was useless and I was drunk and alone, i was hauled to the hospital every second day and nothing could help me and i was dying. But now? Once I played this amazing game, everything became so clear— my life lit up with joy and happiness and amazingness and bliss and nothing will ever come close. I am also darth malaks no 1 fan. Everything about this game is spectacular, the plot, the gameplay, the progression, the way it healed my several illness. After playing this all the girls came flocking to me. Everything was good. Comparable to Mass Effect & even New Vegas in some ways & stands tantamount as the most imaginative & choice driven Star Wars experience of all time. I picked this game up at 7 years old & this & the sequel nonstop until I was about 10. Revisiting it now at 30, I couldn’t believe how much of it I remembered yet it still made me feel like new discoveries were around every corner. If you’re a Star Wars fan, it’s a must play.
