The cappuccino was fantastic but the chicken croissant tasted stale. I think it was from yesterday’s stock. I don’t think it was fair to serve me that way. The app wasn’t opening so I handed over my gold card which is a bit damaged but it works as I use it almost everyday. The staff were in a hurry and handed the card back to me even though requested them to try it a few more times as I have over Rs. 14k on the said card. I also have many other cards on my name which are also topped up and carry high balances. Was disappointed for the first time to tell you the truth. I am a Tata Chemicals Ltd. distributor and care for my customers dearly. ### 1/5 — NO OPTION FOR EMAIL LOGIN *2025-12-07* This recent update has serious issue where there is no login option via email and when try with mobile it says email already registered. Just years worth of rewards gone and utter nonsense as your servers now don’t even send a mail to rest account password via your website. There is no backwards compatibility and I am loosing all by benefits and rewards. I am member GOLD MEMBER since 2014 and after this unpleasant app experience I will never go to Starbucks again. Shame how these companies just don’t care about long term customers. UTTER NONSENSE Please don’t force these nonsense changes ### 1/5 — They don’t have a basic order cancellation button on the app. *2024-08-19* Placed an order with the Infiniti Malad store for the Stanley cup and they accepted the order. When I reached there after 20 minutes, the store informed that they didn’t have the said product and was going to cancel the order. 30 minutes later, I’m still waiting for them to cancel the order so I can get my refund immediately. Called their customer support and they informed that the only way to get my refund was to take a screenshot of the order and wait for 72 hours to get the money back, which seems like a hassle to me. The whole purpose of using the app is to make it easier for us to order, but this is more cumbersome. The store still hasn’t canceled my order and the only way for me to purchase something else is to put more money into the account (I need to get something for Raksha Bandhan, hence I’m torn). Wasted my 6.5k, as I don’t even like their coffee. ### 3/5 — Improve on UX *2024-06-15* I recently placed an order via the app for takeaway. The app showed regular updates: pending, preparing, ready to collect. However, upon reaching the store, my order had not been prepared. The barista then had to open their app and start preparing the order. This defeats the purpose of ordering ahead and causes unnecessary delays. Additionally, while I can buy gift cards through portals like Payzapp and Tata Neu, I cannot redeem them against my existing card in the app. I have to add a separate card and then transfer the balance, which is annoyingly slow. The app needs better synchronization with the store and a more efficient gift card redemption process. ### 1/5 — Uncultured staff at Cyberhub outlet *2024-03-03* I would like to report following incident to you. Today I visited your Cyberhub Gurugram Cafe. I ordered a Cafe latte and was waiting for my coffee. At the same time one staff girl named Sakshi came over the counter in front of me and spoke to her colleague and spoke ‘Order Lena hai kya iska’ in a very uncultured and loud manner, which was loud and clear to me. I however did not react and called the officiating manager Miss Simran and registered the incident. Also I endorsed same in the customer complaint book. Even After all this the staff Ms Sakshi did not apologise. I have been to different coffee shops including Starbucks multiple times and have never been subjected to this behaviour of staff. I fear that such uncultured staff would bring defame to the famed outlet of Starbucks. Also I have decided not to visit the place again ### 1/5 — Useless App *2024-02-09* Please convey to your Digital Head to visit a Bank and see how their apps work or better replace him with someone who can provide an app that works Every time I come to your store it asks me to log in and then when I try to change the password it does not accept my password and chooses its own strong password which of course I can’t remember. And every time I miss out on adding points And the genius behind the counter tells me to call helpline number (yes we are in 2021) and log a call/compliant And the best part the number I called from the app is invalid Go Starbucks This time your call center asked me to uninstall and reinstall the app. After 6 attempts I gave up Moving on to Tim Horton……thank you ### 1/5 — Staff Sometimes Behaves Very Unusual *2023-09-09* Hello Friend, Hope this feedback/Review finds you well Visited Starbucks Uniza Bodakdev in Ahmedabad; my go-to place frequently (also prefer Sankalp Taj Skyline Starbucks and the one in Prahalad Nagar) Visited on 09/09 at 8:18pm and ordered the newbie Tall Salted Dark Caramel Frappe Most Barista and some staffs knows me very well at all 3 above mentioned Starbucks but here this time, I find them very unusual Name suggest Dark but they made very sweet. Used Caramel like it’s FREE. Too much sweet than what I expected. That’s very unusual too. May be they looked tired or something. Looks like Starbucks are not treating or training their TEAM very ethically well Now, to be honest, the staff who took order disappointed me. It was very unusual today at this Starbuck. I just asked to make it bit more dark/strong and they would end up asking for EXTRA MONEY. Never thought they would treat a GOLD; very frequent-goer customer like this way. That’s not all of it. They were not even able to apply size upgrade reward too. First they lured me to go for Handcrafted beverages and then they said they DON’t KNOW how to apply Size-upgrade reward. They said they will keep my invoice to discuss with higher team for this thing. Very strange. Very. Indeed. I would not go there ever now. I’m a Gold Starbucks customers for soo long. They treated me like a street coffee drinker; not from behaviour perspective. They were fine; but from customer service POV. Now, imagine if Starbucks does this way, what can you imagine from others. ### 5/5 — Awesome *2023-09-01* Very good app. Let alone the reward points, the ability to order while you are inside the cafe is amazing. Starbucks cafe usually are busy and if you are alone you will have difficulty finding a seat while the need to stand in long queues for ordering.. instead, using the app you can sit, order via the app and then go pick your order with no need to stand in long ques. I did this and my order was ready in 5 mins only. Very inovative keep it up. ### 5/5 — Happy Hours *2023-06-23* I don’t usually give app reviews, but after today, I had to. Today was really busy at the South City outlet because of the awesome happy hour offer, but the baristas were super professional and polite despite the commotion. I didn’t even try to go to the counter because of the crowd. Just managed to grab a seat and ordered from the app. One of the baristas came down to confirm the order and delivered it to my seat itself. This app really came in handy today. ### 3/5 — App is fine but coordination with stores can improve *2023-06-14* This is well designed app but mobile ordering is not efficient mainly as stores don’t start any preparation until you go and ask. So if you are sitting at the store you have to go up at least twice or thrice to ask to start and then collect your order defeating the purpose of ordering ahead.
