### 4/5 — Great content but app is buggy

I love Jessica’s reading and it is so far the best astrology content. But really need some improvement on the app: for example there is not today’s reading when I open the app and it is still showing the yesterday one. There has been several times that the recording cannot be played normally. Jessica keeps saying you can go listen to last week or another day’s reading but I can never successfully have pas day recording played. I will select the date, hit the play, and it still play today’s or this week’s recording, not the designated one. Please look into your app infrastructure and see how can we get it function better. But again, all these is because I love your content and I would like to be able to access what you suggest to listen back.

I have been asking all of my current astrology apps to add parent child relationships to their offerings, so the idea of Star/Child is GOLD. Unfortunately, the astrology is wrong. My houses are all off so I don’t identify with much of what is written about me, my husband or my kid as a result. I would be paying for a subscription to this app if not for this flaw — so I’m happy I checked it out first before committing to paid. I’ll keep the app on my phone and check back periodically to see if it’s changed. In the meantime I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing: using Claude to give me a monthly family-dynamic astrology reading.

I really wanted to love this app, but I noticed many incorrect placements in my chart—mySun, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus are off by one house. I use time passages and Astro seek as my go to, btw. That being said, I cannot trust this app to give me correct information until it gives me a correct birth chart. My daughter’s chart is also off in the same manner. This feels a lot like asking chat gpt about my birth chart—it’s completely inaccurate. I canceled my sub immediately. The concept is amazing, but it needs real work.

I really wanted to check out this app. It got my star chart correct but my son’s wrong. He’s a Gemini/aries/aries and it says Gemini/gemini/aries. I checked against google and several AIs. Star child is somehow wrong and I can’t fix it.

When looking at the current transits, the app didn’t recognize that Saturn being in Aries is also my Saturn return in the 6th house. That was the information I was looking for specifically because it’s one of the most important transits in anyone’s life, but also important to me as a mother. I also quickly realized that this is written by AI. Classic sentence structuring of “it’s not X, it’s Y” or “this isn’t X, this is Y.” Lots of em dashes (not criminal in nature lol, but a component.) 

The daily review also could not have been more off. The content feels very fabricated by someone that has the basic understanding of astrology and the symbolism…just like AI. I don’t use Chat GPT or similar, but I could have gotten the same information if I gave it my birth chart. 

Three stars because parenting is a good topic that isn’t talked about enough in astrology spaces.

I have combed through this app and can’t find anywhere to choose the housing system.  My husband is a Gemini rising in placidus, which is what we always use, but the same birth information for him is giving him a Taurus rising.  Yes, it is the correct information.  Please let us choose house systems!  Aside from that the app is very cute and clean in its design, and seems to be intuitive to navigate.  Thanks!

I really like the daily horoscopes on this app and they are often spot on. However it’s often buggy, showing reveling say despite reloading, sometimes for just one family member (weird!). Also the section that shows how you relate to your family members is so repetitive, just restating the same thing over and over again. Which feels like an AI is regurgitating something. I’ll continue to check the daily horoscopes for fun but hope this app gets better!

The app is great! I absolutely love the content except it never loads! I paid the 10 a month to subscribe so I can get updates and deep dives. But it never gets past the loading screen now 😞 so sadly I had to unsubscribe

Two of my kids consistently have the same horoscope despite having different signs, and my partner’s horoscope is always for the previous week.  The push notifications are great, but I’m not sure how to fix these errors. 😵‍💫

I love this app, but it never updates until so late in the week which is so frustrating. I had the subscription for awhile but without being able to see what my week looked like until the week was already half over felt pointless so I deleted the subscription. I keep checking throughout the days for when it updates and get very excited when it does because it’s always been so accurate and has helped me understand what might be going on in my kids and partners life that I don’t see on my own. It has helped me understand my family better as well as myself and been a great guide none the less.

This app is so cute but throughout my time I’ve been using it— basically since it was released— there are so many bugs. The most recent one is my co-parents horoscopes are not updating like mine and my kids. My co-parent is always anywhere from a couple days to 10 days behind. Another issue is that if you try to reach out for support there is not anyone that will ever get back to you. So, when it’s working it’s great, but when it’s not it’s like paying for a broken thing and not having a place to really go to see about it being fixed.

I absolutely love Jessica’s perspective and find a ton of value in the content and daily audio readings. Like many have mentioned, the bugs are an issue, but the inconsistent uploads of daily readings are causing me to finally cancel my subscription. Often they aren’t even being added until midday or later with no rhyme or reason. Fine if free, but on a paid app I want to know that it’s consistently providing what I’m paying for. I’d love to come back if this becomes a more reliable team.

Unfortunately, I never got to use this app. After downloading it, it would only display the STAR/CHILD logo screen and never load past it, no matter how long I waited or how many times I tried.

I also paid for the premium subscription, which made the experience even more frustrating. I reached out to the company by both email and Instagram for support but never received a response.

The app looks like it has great potential based on the description, but I wasn’t able to access any of the features. Until the loading issue is fixed and customer support is more responsive, I can’t recommend paying for the premium subscription.

I was excited to use this app for my family & I. I downloaded and input all our information & paid the fee upfront to be able to start using it. It seemed like a lot of information, although you can tell something’s were generic, it still was pretty cool to see the astrological connections within my home. Well it worked for ONE day then crashed. The day after I got it I went to show my husband and it wouldn’t even open then it opened and would load our information. Now it’s continuously asking me to input my birthday and info every time I do it it just starts over. I deleted it and downloaded back, did all the troubleshooting I know how and it doesn’t work. SMH I’m getting a refund!!

Since I’m Deaf, I asked for a refund — but they denied it. Then they rolled out audio-only features with no subtitles, like accessibility is some kind of optional DLC. What a joke. You’re charging Deaf users for a product we can’t even use. Enjoy your app; I’m out.

Was super excited for this app. The excitement dissipated after the app either crashed every time i opened it or asked my for my birth chart every - single - time. Hope they can fix but not paying for this again until they do. Seeking a refund for this month bc it’s basically been useless

The houses on the birth charts are not accurate. I checked my chart against 3 different websites to make sure. And it takes your house into account when giving you an analysis of your chart so those won’t be accurate either. If free websites can get it right, I don’t see why an app with an option to pay money would get it wrong. Waste of $10.

Liked this app at first and then shortly after purchasing a subscription it logged me out of the app and wouldn’t let me back in. Wouldn’t even give an option to log in or back out — it would only make me create a new account all over again. Smells a bit like a scam to me, which is really disappointing because I really felt it would be helpful for me and my kids.

In the past, I didn’t take much stock in astrology and horoscopes, but after using this app, and seeing how the specifics of my family’s birth charts interact with one another, I was struck by how illuminating these insights can be! I gained quite a bit of insight into my own interactions with my child based on our charts, and how I can best meet his needs. I felt that the individual birth charts were very knowledgeable and painted an accurate picture of the individuals in my family as I knew them. My only suggestion would be a widget for the iPhone Home Screen that had daily information about the family signs interactions or the origin parent’s day, similar to the co-star app’s widget.

This is one of the BEST astrology apps I’ve ever used, hands down. It is absolutely worth the monthly subscription. The daily horoscopes go into an incredible amount of depth, and the accuracy is mind-blowing. I love that the interpretations also include perspectives for co-parents and children, which makes it feel so much more complete and useful. I genuinely don’t know how the astrologer manages to analyze daily transit charts for all 12 zodiac signs and deliver such deeply insightful, beautifully interpreted guidance every day. This app is on another level. If you’re serious about astrology, this app is a must-have.

I love this app so much. I’ve been using it consistently over the last year and it has really changed our family life. It’s taught me how to show up for my kids in the way they need me to, as well as a partner. I love having such an in-depth understanding of who my kids are and who I am as a parent. It’s also super fun and the daily readings are amazing! Also cool to see there is a real person behind the app. I call her my intuitive pocket mom-friend 😅!

As an amateur astrologer who’s tried a lot of apps, this is really top tier. Its UI is super friendly and gives lots of high-level info at a glance, while being easy to dive into deep insights that will change how I approach aspects of my parenting. The daily horoscopes are way better than most and I love seeing how transits are impacting the whole family. 

I’m not sure whether AI is creating all or most of their content, of which there’s so much it’s hard to believe they could do it any other way. I have conflicting feelings about the use of AI in spaces like this but, coming from a tech background, I can see how well-suited it is for handling the really complex stuff.

I’m going to start by saying I give it 4.75 stars. This is one of the very few apps I pay for because the content is so thorough and I think the insights, both daily and weekly, are amazingly detailed for the price. Honestly I even liked the free version. My one tiny “complaint” is the daily reading doesn’t load early in the morning. I’m a working mom up by 5:30am and would love to start my day with the daily reading (so I know what kind of day I’m in for with my kids lol) but it’s always still on the previous day. If that could be fixed then it would be my ideal astrology app

This app has become a part of my daily ritual. On my way to drop kids school & daycare, I listen to the daily. On Sundays, I listen to the weekly. I pay for the premium, which I don’t mind because I actually feel like I’m learning & able to make connections now with how everything is aligned. However, recently the daily hasn’t been coming until the middle of the day. When open the app, it takes me to the log in screen. And the weekly isn’t posting on Sunday by noon which has been around the time it has happened before. Apps are wonky but I hope that it can get fixed so I can keep learning & listening.

All of a sudden it is taking me to the very beginning. I was already paying the $9.99…. I’m not sure what is happening. It’s trying to have me re enter everything. And even when I do it glitches and does it all over again. I’m not going to continue paying $9.99 for something I can’t even use. This was my absolute favorite astrology app because it was so accurate and considered the whole family dynamic. Now I can’t even see my chart. To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement.
