In addition to that, being a child therapist, I am always on the hunt for a good behavior chart! It has been a wild ride to get to this app but i’m so glad I was told about it! Reasons why other apps didn’t work for me - “ease of use!” Nothing worsens my executive dysfunction than something being hard or boring. Other apps were very boring which made it hard to use because it just wasn’t fun, very confusing and did not feel reinforcing at all. There was no room to get personalized with my goals. Many apps already had the behaviors pre determined which made it really hard to make my goals tailored to my needs. I would see a behavior titled “Walk more,” and wasn’t able to specifically define what that meant! There was no positive reinforcement which led me to not feel hyped about my steps towards change! I am a big fan of positive reinforcement with specific praise-where was it in these apps? No where!!! Why this app is different-It is EASY and FUN and SO clearly made by someone who gets it! I was able to add multiple behaviors to contribute to my overall total prize goal!! This method makes so much sense to me! I get a star(or in my case, I chose a ghost to represent my wins)each time I achieve any of my goals! Not only that, but I can add moments that stood out! This app also offers me to customize my small and big prizes!!! For my small prize, I get a made-for-me coffee the following day and for my big prize, I get to go to a plant store with $100! I am halfway to my plant goal! While this app is completely customizable, it offers ideas for you!! Which is truly the way I was able to be so specific about my goals! To give adults out there some ideas- my current goals are “intentional daily mindfulness,” “intentional movement” and “intentional eating!” It’s working for me because I get to define what intentional means for me! Another highlight is I reported a small glitch and it was fixed the same day!! I truly can’t say enough and am so grateful!
