I want something more exciting like go to different events, meeting someone, having a family all that kind of stuff. It is the same thing over and over again. No offense but it’s getting boring now. I’m not always on here for hours because I have other things to do. Another thing I’ve noticed is that energy will just sometimes not regenerate while the app is closed or especially if it was left open in the background. Also, the over abundance of charm-required clothes is just sad, charm being this game’s standard “rare currency” that the game heavily encourages you to buy with real money. Fun game, requires a little too much dedication, slightly bugged, but over all just another mobile game so not sure what else you would expect. ### 3/5 — Look what’s with the glitches *2021-03-24, version 3.6.2* Ok this game okay kinda annoying and because the glitches it said it fixed them it’s lies cause when I get to level three it somehow says my internet is and when I start over and then I try to get it again and again but still it’s just really annoying and has lots and tons of glitches and because I’m nice rated this a three and also it a scam Because right in the start it make’s you pay not real money but fake money in the game it makes you pay $500 ! So that’s what I think about this game and fix the glitch please! ### 3/5 — Stardom *2021-02-27, version 3.6.2* I downloaded this game a couple weeks ago and I only played it the first 3 days, it got boring. All you do it dress up and earn coins and act which takes 1 hour. It’s very boring, and you unlock stuff to slowly. When you earn money, usually it’s only 2 bucks, and the clothes cost 100$. Immediately when you join the game Theres this odd person with a cigarette maybe you should change him, and he always is saying: “where’s my 100$ ya bum?” I just hated the app after that. How some characters are always being rude and saying stuff that isn’t inappropriate, but it’s rude! So I stopped playing, I found other fun games like this, but SO much better. Sorry, this game isn’t worth it. ### 3/5 — Only Get If You Have Time *2021-02-14, version 3.6.2* I’ve proceeded to download this game and delete it a fair bit, I just never have time. I’m really busy, and 8 hours a day I’m at school and can’t do any of the events. If you don’t do enough events or do them often enough, your rank drops. A lot. Your lover will also try to break up with you.. Last time I played I got to the point where I could hold a wedding. I spent a couple days farming to get like 20,000k for the wedding? Then it turned out (spoiler) your rival also wanted to get married and you have to spend more. I didn’t have enough at the time and the deadline was 2 days, I rage-deleted the app lol😅. Anyways, I’m picking the game up again- the storyline is actually decent from what I’ve seen, I really like some of the side characters. I don’t care about celebrities, I don’t actually really even know who kim kardashain- however you spell it- is, but I still found it a really enjoyable game. It’s just, it’s not worth losing all your progress because you weren’t able to play for a few days. OH weLl I’ve got time on my hands since class is online now for the time being (due to COVID.) ### 3/5 — Could Be Better *2021-02-07, version 3.6.2* Clearly this game hasn’t been updated in ages, as I am hitting so many bugs. I can’t buy any houses (there’s no quest or options) so that’s a huge issue since I wanted a pet. Also the stamina Regen rate is super poor in this game; I’ll have 0, then close the app for more then 10 minutes and the timer will not have gone down. Also it will say my energy is full but the game doesn’t reflect that, only being half full. Needs more dating options too. Someone needs to update this game ### 2/5 — The realtor!!! *2020-11-16, version 3.6.2* I like the game I have played it before but it was more lively than now. Seems abandoned. The fun things that was going on when it was being up kept it was engaging and exciting but now it feels dead. I have opened places up all the way to being able to travel to the Valley. I have enough cash to buy a better apartment but the realtor lady is not showing up. I know you guys are no longer updating the game but your company should have left us the ability to purchase new apartments. There is no point in the game opening up all these apartments when I can’t even purchase them, and all I can do is walkthrough them. I am level 11 and a B-lister. I should still be able to buy a new apartment. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Those with anxiety.. *2020-10-13, version 3.6.2* so, i played this game when i was like 12 and i made it to the A list. so as a 17 year old i thought it would be a fun pass time now that i have so much extra time with covid. but the amount of tasks that happen at the same time absolutely overwhelmed me and i found that i was stressed out..over a game. idk i think maybe it’s just my own mind finding ways to hurt me but maybe if you guys could slow down the amount of tasks at one time that’d be cool. thanks :) ### 3/5 — Decent *2020-08-18, version 3.6.2* I had been invested in this game for a couple weeks. I was #1 on the A-list yet I still had almost 16 levels to go. Before I deleted all that happened were just project after project and energy doesn’t exactly recharge fast. That should be changed. Everything in the clothing icon is super expensive and low quality and the ones that cost stars are very unreasonable because not everyone can buy stars and money. You only get 1 star after you finish each level and by the time I got 25 which is like the cheapest number of stars you can buy something for, I didn’t want to do it and then be back at square 1. It was also very annoying to take a break for a couple of days and come back and have lost 3 million fans. Overall I think this game is just decent. ### 3/5 — Fun but *2020-05-22, version 3.6.2* Ok so I deleted the game a while ago because it got too demanding of my time and I was constantly busy, but I recently re-downloaded it since quarantine was happening and I had nothing better to do. Anyways every since I’ve re-downloaded it it has been glitching, time wise. I could start a 3 hour project, use all my energy, and then come back 2 hours later and it would say that no time has passed and that I still had no energy. So then I would wait a little longer and when I come back it says my project is over and I only got little stars. It’s irritating and making me lose many fans for something that isn’t my fault. ### 2/5 — Should be shared in app description *2020-04-24, version 3.6.2* I am not sure how accurate this information is but I read in a forum that due to this being an older game there are no further updates being made. This means certain perks in actions during filming stop paying out, purchasing new homes is no longer available and a few other things that make the game fun and worth continuing to play. This is something that you need to place in game description so that the gamer can decide if they want to play a semi pointless game. Further, before people pay money for a product that is incomplete. You owe some people money back for the misinformation. If this is not the case, update your game. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2020-03-05, version 3.6.2* I know this game is kinda old, but what’s the point in it still running if nothing’s going to be done to fix it? I can’t buy a new apartment because there’s no realtors to buy from, my virtual bf wants to break up CONSTANTLY no matter how often I take him out on dates, and let’s be honest, the 24 hour shifts are ridiculous because I don’t always have the time of day to come back every other hour and try to play it. Plus it takes wayyy too long for my energy to refill. Would like it if your guys put some more care into this game or just took it down. The only way to gain exp is by auditioning but half the auditions I go to I don’t even get to try bc I don’t have enough experience and my energy runs out before I earn enough to make it actually count toward overall experience. Plus you need a ton of stars to buy clothes, hair, gifts to make friends and to use to charm everyone you meet. It’s depressing right off the bat. I can’t even get on the D list because the movie I finally worked up to flopped. I’ve only had it for 3 days and it’s given me no hope to continue. I know it’s because the KKH game gets them more money, but that game is so much lesser than this one. Not as interesting and not as cheap. I’ve tried both and constantly come back to Stardom. DEVELOPERS! THIS GAME HAS A FAN BASE!!! DON’T FORGET ABOUT US! UPDATE YOUR GAME!!! FIX THE BUGS!!! GIVE US THE TIME YOU GIVE KKH!!!! BUUGY. To edit, it’s Buggy as all get out. I won’t have it up for hours but it still won’t tell me I have energy filled. Fix please. I’ve waited hours for my energy to refill, and every time I open it, it’s at 0 and the clock resets at the five minutes you have to wait. I also had a 3 hour challenge that an hour and a half in completed somehow so I didn’t get many stars. It’s an okay game otherwise, very much the same thing over and over—I want more than doing the same kind of commercial over and over! Makes the game dull when I don’t feel like I really progress. Also, there should be a way outside of the stars to buy energy, because I refuse to put real money into this game. ### 1/5 — Don’t Use Real Money *2020-11-12, version 3.6.2* The game is great and so much fun but the company doesn’t maintain it anymore and therefore doesn’t care to fix glitches. Oddly enough they are still perfectly happy to take any money you want to pay in the game but at this point it’s not worth it. Maybe if they bothered to listen to the players over the last two years the buying an apartment glitch would be fixed by now. Think about that 2/3 years this one issue has been going on and the people who create the game couldn’t care less so again don’t give anything back to them. Also, half the time the countdown keeps going but you get no energy when the app is closed. You can’t enjoy this game anymore because of it the crap doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — I find an unacceptable amount of problems with this game *2020-08-10, version 3.6.2* I used to enjoy your games. Of course, this was before your display of extreme unprofessionalism and lack of competence. There are an extreme number of problems with this game . Now normally I would not be bothered by such a trivial matter, but the only thing impressive about this game is the lack of effort that was put into it. The gameplay is dull, the graphics subpar at best and most of the intended functions are faulty and utterly useless. If this is the state of the rest of your games, then I fear for both you and the people who choose to be disappointed by your hard work. I think you might want to address these problems soon. After all, no one wants to play games that don’t work. And if this one doesn’t work, people will make assumptions about your other games. I hope you take this review into account. But this game is pretty pointless now since they didnt update it and there are a lot of buts. There’s no realtor, so you’re pretty character is pretty stuck in the first apartment your character lived in. Im on level 16 and at this level, you are suppose to be able to buy a big house already for your cahsracter and big pets, but you can’t do it because there’s no realtor and there’s no other way to buy the house. Also, there are some locked buildings that couldn’t be open. There are in-purchase stuff here, like if you need more stars or cash, but if the game was and will never be updated, then there’s no sense of even pursuing this game. ### 1/5 — GLITCHED TO THE MAX. *2019-11-11, version 3.6.2* I just started this game and first of all, WOW. I’ve never seen a game this broken. There are barley any dresses for sale in the shop it’s all ugly jeans and t-shirts. Plus, some of the ugliest clothes cost the most. I tried to buy a house, and there is nobody to sell it to me at ANY level in the game. Sometimes when I get missions, my agent will never call me and there’s no option to force the call so the mission will just sit there. Lastly, the story progression is really bad. I did multiple movies and got 5 stars on each so I am now an A-list celebrity. But when I went to go talk to the paparazzi he said “ How do you expect me to take a picture of a nobody? “ like ummmm what... I’m an A-list celebrity with 5.8 million fans but he still registers me as an E-list. Just please fix the game. It has potential but the glitches get so annoying. ### 1/5 — FIX THIS *2019-09-30, version 3.6.2* Glu you better respond here because you did not when I emailed you. I love this game, even though I feel like it’s less detailed than A list, it’s super fun to pretend to be a star. However, there is one issue that really bothers me. Everything works fine except when I go into an apartment to buy, the real estate agent isn’t there. This makes it totally impossible to own an apartment outside the default one. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, and it didn’t work. This flaw completely ruins the game for me, as I’m really sick of the neighborhood apartment and it’s unfair to not be able to leave it. I understand that this is a legacy game, but that is no excuse to leave it with flaws like this. I may delete soon if you don’t take action or at least respond to this review. Sidenote: What the heck is the point of buildings like Pacific Concepts LLC, Gaffer Tape Rentals, and the one in the neighborhood? You can never enter them, no matter how far you progress in the game, and not even Stardom: Hollywood’s wiki knows what they are for! Why even bother making them if they serve no purpose? Please tell me when and how to enter them, and what they are for. ### 1/5 — Trouble syncing, lost money and just don’t download their apps *2018-04-18, version 3.6.2* I remember playing this game 2 years ago and I wanted to get back into it again, they changed a lot of their parts of the game, mostly the fact that in order to make significant progress in the game, you would have to spend money in getting those additional stars for energy and such. Which is fine but I purchased a rising star pack that gave me a bundle of 50 stars, full energy and sunglasses. But when I logged into a different device I had, it lost a lot of the progress I had made and my purchase! I doubt I’m going to get refunded as their help support seems unreachable. ### 2/5 — This game is garbage. *2022-10-16, version 3.6.2* This game is so bad that within a day I deleted it, it’s boring you literally can’t do anything without having to pay. All the eyes in this game are horrendous the only good looking eyes you can get that is free makes you look like an alien. You get the most basic clothes and they are super ugly and I couldn’t even afford my rent in the game, Or buy new clothes or anything, this game is just trying to get children to spend all of their money on it. It’s also a rip off of Kardashian. In short this game is a waste of time and money. ### 2/5 — Meh… *2021-08-28, version 3.6.2* Did the creators forget about this game or something? I’m annoyed that every time I open the app or finish a project, another one comes not even 3-5 minutes later. I get that it’s to boost me up along the way of the game, but I feel like after I refill my energy up it just go towards another project just for it to get empty again. Kim Kardashian for example, gives us projects but even after those project we are rewarded with something. When we’ve completed the projects in this game we are rewarded with another project. 😐 I also don’t feel like we get enough energy. For a project that lasts for 1 hour I find my self siting at 3 1/2 stars if not 4 even after using all of my energy. For example, 24 hours to create movies? I know real life movies take forever, but I really want them to be shorter. I want to create buzz for myself for awards.
