### 2/5 — Poor privacy safety

*2026-08-26, version 3.9.3*

this app was rank one of the lowest to keep your information and data safe

### 3/5 — Great but

*2026-08-25, version 3.9.3*

In all honesty, this app is pretty good especially compared to other main source. Apps I prefer this one especially with the moon cycles. The only downside is that a lot of it’s locked up behind a paywall. I understand you gotta make money somehow, but the paywall’s are getting annoying and then all honesty. I just can’t afford to unlock all the extra stuff. I would love to be able to experience it, but just can’t afford to have another bill. Only reason it’s getting three stars and not 5

### 4/5 — Love it but gitchy

*2026-08-25, version 3.9.3*

Had to delete a while ago because it would keep crashing and losing all of my info, i put all of my history in again and again but gave up. Just redownloaded and am hoping for the best bc i really like this app

### 2/5 — Slow and annoying

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.3*

this app receives updates every two weeks and will not let you use the app without updating. i dont understand the required internet connection either, i shouldnt need internet connection to access what should be locally stored dates on a calendar. even after updating the app for the hundredth time and connecting to high speed wifi i still have to wait ages for the app to load, once it does load its slow and laggy, no other apps on my phone are as laggy as this. plus the constant advertising of a subscription with very superficial benefits can be a bit annoying. although it does technically work so not one star.

### 3/5 — Need improvement

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.3*

I have been using this app for years. It takes so long to load! The UX around adding a post dated period is confusing. Also more daily information about the cycle itself would be so helpful!

### 4/5 — Super exciting!

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.3*

I really like this app so far, what’s more interesting and important is that they cite the sources they have used!
10/10

### 3/5 — Awesome! But..

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.2*

Dont get me wrong! I love the app and its very accurate, just every-time i open the app it causes my phone to lag, and get very glitchy. Thats the only downside ive had so far.. :,(

### 3/5 — My epic review

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.2*

It’s somewhat accurate but glitchy as hell to the point where the app itself can barely function making it almost impossible to use

### 3/5 — Lovely app but glitchy

*2026-08-23, version 3.9.2*

I like the app a lot, but my phone freaks out whenever I open it! It takes ages to load, will make any audio playing on my phone stop and buffer, and often inside the app itself the buttons stop working and I have to restart. Plus, I love all the types of symptoms you can track (they’re very thoughtful and realistic), but I’m not aware of them being taken into account i.e. if I regularly track x before my period starts, and x happens earlier than expected, my period predictions don’t seem to be adjusted?

### 4/5 — App constantly glitching??

*2026-08-23, version 3.9.2*

it’s a great app! i love it so much! but recently whenever i try to open it to see when my next period is it glitches and just leaves me at the opening/loading “stardust” screen?? it gets really frustrating

### 3/5 — used to be good

*2026-08-23, version 3.9.2*

it was great until they put all the good features behind a paywall.

### 2/5 — I payed membership and it told me literally nothing but my period

*2026-08-22, version 3.9.2*

I don’t like how i put in my symptoms, but it tells me nothing about why I have them and i don’t like it talking about my moon sign and weird stuff like that what does that have to do with my period?

### 3/5 — lag / glitch problems

*2026-08-22, version 3.9.2*

Has a lot of potential but the app constantly lags, bugs and crashes. I keep it to see hormonal changes.

### 2/5 — Cant connect anymore??

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

Stardust still sends me notification related to my cycle but I cant seem to log in the app. It continuously tells me that no acount exists under those informations, and the only other way to connect or create a new acount is by connecting via Apple. And I would prefer not to do that. Very confused about this since the app clearly know "who I am" since it keeps updating me on my cycle by notifications, even tho this login problem has been going on for few days. Why is that?

### 2/5 — Used to Love, Over it Now

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

I really loved this app when I first started using it. It definitely tickled the witchy side of my personality with the way it also tracks the moon! It still good app… but I hate that so much of it is behind a subscription pay wall and it’s so messy to have all this visible stuff you can’t access. It’s just very crowded and I don’t need my period app to do crazy stuff, I want to understand my cycle better and what my hormones are up to, which is why I liked this app but I’m over it now.

### 2/5 — Data share Disappointed

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

Have just found out data is shared with a company not listed in their terms. Woman’s health information should not be treated this way.

### 2/5 — It okay

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

It’s a decent app but it cannot track irregular periods at all. I’ve been bleeding for 21 days and it’s telling me my next period is in seven days, if you have a regular period I’m sure it’s fine but it’s wildly inaccurate if you don’t

### 4/5 — Beautiful!

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

This apps interface is gorgeous! And I have to say I have learnt so much about my hormonal cycle purely from this, I enjoy the fact that you guys give your references for all the information about our cycles in case we want to check it out ourselves! It’s a pretty easy app to use, at least I thought so. However, the recent changes to the subscriptions has been disappointing. Considering the amount of stuff that was available not too long ago and has now been locked behind a paywall is a bit upsetting. I really do appreciate all the time and care that has been taken in curating such a visually striking app!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — completely AI

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.3*

asked about if i have pmdd. i do. it never used this info once. the worst part is that this app is completely AI and so i don’t trust its information at all. a lot of it gives misogyny when you think about it

### 1/5 — Your Data is Not Safe

*2026-08-23, version 3.9.2*

Stardust was caught sending out birthdates, birth control methods, pregnancy, and mood logs to an outside analytics company. (Study by the Mozilla Foundation)

### 1/5 — New update is bad

*2026-08-23, version 3.9.2*

8/23/2026 I hate the new update. It SUCKS. Why did you move everything around?? I want to add symptoms to a PREVIOUS day. User interface is pretty but NOT INTUITIVE OR HELPFUL. It was at least more usable before.

### 1/5 — Used to be good!!

*2026-08-22, version 3.9.2*

Positives: love the variety of symptoms and log options. Especially with someone who has a lot of nerve pain it was great to track how severe it was during my cycle to show my log data to my doctors…

Negatives: I USED TO be able to see my history.. but now to my surprise sitting in the doctor’s office to show them my symptoms, it’s behind a paywall. To see your OWN PERIOD HISTORY the app is sneakily getting you to pay. Yes you can use the calendar mode, but what’s the difference to just using the scroll wheel to “gaze into my past??” Why force your customers to pay to scroll and see their own history day to day but allow them to see it in a calendar view? I know the term!! Cash grab!

Rather than what originally brought many other customers in… the fact you cared for us… it’s clear it’s becoming a cash grab from us.

Just another disappointment in women’s health honestly!! Enjoy at your own risk (the app looks great if you’re interested to pay for the application alongside your pads/tampons and pain medication!)

### 1/5 — GLITCHY

*2026-08-22, version 3.9.2*

Used to be great but it’s been super glitchy for a few weeks and no longer tells you what phase you’re in? Super annoying because that’s the reason I use it

### 1/5 — Just another gimmick for our bodies

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

I wanted to love this app I really did. But from never starting up that I barely can use it to locking cycle recap behind a 30 bucks a year plan. I’ve done astrology over 20 years if you’re going to monetize it then do it don’t bottleneck us as a period app for all the things that make it the period app. So my only choices is flo an app ran by men and supported by purposely ignorant women or I have this app that goes “if you’re broke just say that” as if everything else tied to our vagina isn’t money based. You’re giving matcha classism babes. We bleed we track. Everything is so greeedy. For a lifetime we won’t bother finding purpose for. Just churning more imaginary monies for yall imaginary rewards of stuff

### 1/5 — Not actually private :/

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

Mozilla caught the app sharing out data to an outside analytics company. So disappointed after I had recommended it to friends. Going to transition away from using the app.

### 1/5 — Not even 7days free

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

I reluctantly pressed the 7 day FREE trial.
To see if this thing is worth $5 a month.

But it immediately tried to charge me $19.99!!!
Not free!!!
Lucky for me- that credit card is maxed out f
So it failed!

Absolutely was NOT what I was signing up to or had agreed upon

Lies!

Avoid lying tricking aps

### 1/5 — Unable to add partner

*2026-08-20, version 3.9.2*

I am unable to follow my partner’s cycle on the app, despite many attempts.

We have tried sharing invite link + partner code, but nothing works.

Funny enough, she is able to follow me, but I am unable to follow her.

We’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, and updating our iOS.

I’ll update this review as soon as this is fixed.

### 1/5 — Used to be good, now you have to pay for everything

*2026-08-20, version 3.9.2*

Used to love this app so much, it was fun and aesthetic and my friends loved comparing our cycles and symptoms. Good mix of biological facts and top tips and the fun stuff. But now you have to pay. For almost everything. To “look into the future” and see what the app predicts will be, and to look into the past and see your own data that you submitted previously you have to pay for. Not pleased anymore sorry. Make it free again, or have less protected by a pay wall and would be a 10 star app

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Would pick this app over all others!

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.2*

I’ve never been so in tune with my cycle. Thanks to this cute app!

### 5/5 — Partnership

*2026-08-24, version 3.9.2*

I love how I can see what me and my friends cycles are in sync. I also love how you can share where you are on your period/cycle with your partner. I honestly love these features and it helps me feel more in touch with my friends.

### 5/5 — Fun

*2026-08-22, version 3.9.2*

It’s epic

### 5/5 — Add a temp scale!

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

I love this app, very beautiful and a nice way to track the different parts of my cycle. My only wish is that the temperature scale could be adjusted so I could see my dips and rises easier. Stardust, please add this feature! My high and low temps are only a few degrees apart and I wish I could manually set the high and low on the temperature scale to see the changes easier. I still have to track my temps on paper because of this.

### 5/5 — Beautiful, Engaging & Actually Relevan

*2026-08-21, version 3.9.2*

I’m really enjoying Stardust. It makes learning about my cycle feel engaging without being too gimmicky or overwhelming. I especially appreciate that I can tailor the app to my focus—I’m not trying to have children; I’m interested in understanding my period, my body, and the power of my cycle.

The information it provides feels relevant and insightful, and I love being able to share parts of it with my partner so they can better understand what’s happening throughout my cycle too. The colors, design, and overall interface are beautiful and genuinely make me want to keep using the app. It’s a refreshing way to feel more connected to my body.

### 5/5 — It’s awesome and almost entirely accurate

*2026-08-20, version 3.9.2*

I love everything abt this app! I’ve been using it for a couple years and it’s been really helpful for tracking my periods. I also love the little comments and notifications it gives! It’s just a great app.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-20, version 3.9.2*

Just a great app. Nothing more to say.

### 5/5 — My opinion on this app

*2026-08-20, version 3.9.2*

I think it’s very useful for people who can’t remember the last time their period last started.

### 5/5 — AMAZING??

*2026-08-20, version 3.9.2*

So so so many options for what symptoms you can put down, so inclusive for anyone out there, and incredibly well designed! I love the moon thingy so so cool!!! Never in my life have I thought that I would ever be excited to open a period tracker, but I genuinely am! It’s so fun logging everything and being able to actually see why I’m feeling the way that I do! 10/10!!!!!!🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

### 5/5 — Good customer service

*2026-08-19, version 3.9.2*
