When asking about how to fix this, they simply told me that it can’t be appealed and they can’t do anything. Zero effort on their part to remedy the issue or even help. ### 1/5 — Horrible experience… stay away! *2022-03-11* I spent a lot of time trying to get an HSA opened through Starship and the App kept showing me the sign - We couldn’t open your account - We couldn’t verify your identity, even though I uploaded the required documents including valid driver’s license front and back. When I tried to contact someone in the company about it she said that my account could not be opened and she could not tell me why. Her name was Heather. This company is probably a SCAM. Stay away, imo. ### 1/5 — No help with verification of eligibility *2022-03-03* I thought because my deductible is $2500 that I would qualify and starship does not have any help to verify if you even qualify before you open the account. They do not have helpful q&a and they are not available 24/7 for chat support. Also I set up the account and now know I can’t have the account I have not deposited any money yet and the app will not let me close the account without speaking to someone. They keep telling me to call my linked bank to file a dispute so I could get back my money, I called my linked bank and they said they can’t do anything about it……. My linked bank said only starship Heath savings account can disbursed my money…… starship savings account is not doing anything about my money, between they logged me out of my account and i have no access to my money and account anymore….. they are scam!!!! Very glitchy, and unresponsive service *2020-12-16, version 4.1.1* Ive been trying and trying across multiple devices to get this to work, and its like the crashing and glitches dont stop. ### 1/5 — Can’t access my money *2020-05-12, version 3.9.1* Every time I try to link my bank account to access my funds, I get stuck on the “I’m not a robot” page and nothing happens. I tried it on a diff device and then it said that my account was locked... but it’s not. I click on the unlock account button and that leads to no help. ### 1/5 — Starship stole my money *2020-01-15* My employer has been using Starship since I joined the company a couple months ago, I receive emailed statements from them once a month that notifies me of my account balance. However, every time I’ve logged into the app it’s shown a $0.00 balance and my card doesn’t work. I emailed support, no response. I chatted with an agent and was given a response but nothing has been effective. After their migration and “new app” I can’t even access my account dashboard because I’m stuck in the new user flow, particularly the question of “do you have an existing HSA to transfer to Starship?” If I had a choice, I would never use Starship HSA again. Unfortunately it’s not up to me to make this decision. I would say however this company needs to have a support line because this is pretty unacceptable to not be able to access my HSA funds for healthcare purchases for the past 6 months. **Developer response:** Hi there, we appreciate your feedback. Also you can add the card to Apple Pay so I don’t need to remember to bring my card every time I go to the pharmacy!
