Apple devices do not play well with third party software and it’s grown worse over years. I suspect that this more to do with Apple than Start.me as this is a recent problem. What once was the so called walled in garden has become a fenced in high security prison yard complete with turreted armed guards and electrified barbed wire barricades. I wish I never bought the iPhone 16. **Developer response:** Thanks for informing us about this issue, Databanktwo. We've also noticed some issues with saving, and we're investigating as to its causes. We hope to find a solution soon. And as as workaround, you can always copy the link to the page you want to save, and paste it to a bookmarks widget. Just press the pencil icon, and paste. I will keep using it as the home page in the browser for now instead of the app. That has worked well for a me. For example, I want that “open with safari” button replaced with “open with Chrome” or “open with Edge” depending on which is set. Because this application is perfect otherwise, I just would prefer to go to my default browser where all my passwords are saved rather than continuing to open up in safari, manually copy the link and paste and go to my default browser. We've been looking at the issue you reported, and it looks like we can reproduce it. The button at the bottom is Safari. However, when I click it, it opens my preferred browser, which is Chrome. App is useless in its current state. Would like the application to be updated. I use startme as Rssfeed, too. Besides i can add custom widgets. Our search function also checks the description, so you can find all the related bookmarks later.
