### 5/5 — Pretty good for an obviously vibe coded app

*2026-05-19*

Needs some polish but it works well between my devices. Some small (mostly UI) bugs but I like it.

### 5/5 — Surprised the Heck Out of Me

*2026-05-18*

Yeah, the app needs some refinement, but I love the thinking behind Stash Anything. What sold me was simply “stashing” an entire Gemini conversation with a few taps or an IMDB link (in to a TV/Movies “stash” or “Watch Later” folder and then being able to move/use what I’ve stashed elsewhere (even in markdown). I’m still evaluating the use of other apps like Raindrop or even a clipboard manager because Stash could be a great place to triage all the stuff I “collect” during the day on any device. So far so good (but I have a lot of “stash testing” still to do.)

### 5/5 — Looks like it has great potential!

*2026-05-14*

I really wish there was some sort of trial for the lifetime version. It’s hard to get a full feel for everything without one. Otherwise the app seems nice

EDIT: oh my gosh! My sincere apologies!!! I somehow missed this, I’m visually impaired and wonder if that had something to do with it? I need lots of contrast but either way, you’re a doll and I’m SO SORRY!!

Can you please elaborate on “it’s yours to keep if it’s the app for you?!” Something about going against subscription? I can contact you directly if you don’t mind leaving an email and then I’ll update my review again so all this is taken out! I’m SO SORRY AGAIN!! THANK YOU!

**Developer response:** Awesome 🙂 thank you!

### 5/5 — Шикарное приложение!!

*2026-04-22*

A huge thank you to the developer for this wonderful app!!!
Finally, my screenshots, links, and notes are all organized. And best of all, everything is stored locally, so it’s accessible even without an internet connection!
A very useful, convenient, and beautiful app!
If I could give it 10 stars, my rating would be 10! Awesome!!!!👍🏼

### 5/5 — Amazing Organizational Tool

*2026-04-20*

Fantastic app that brings all of your forgotten “watch/read later” lists into one place. Now I actually check my stashed items on a regular basis to act on them instead of letting them sit for eternity.

### 5/5 — Organization Lifesaver

*2026-04-12*

Great tool for organizing the Photos app if you have large quantities of media in photos.

### 5/5 — Useful

*2026-04-04*

Simple and useful way to keep links, reels, videos, photos, etc. in one app.

### 5/5 — So good

*2026-04-03*

I didn’t realize how much I needed this app until I started using it. It’s so nice having my screenshots organized right away, without having to remember to go back to them.

### 5/5 — Excellent!!

*2026-04-03*

I organize everything with this. Emails, memes, posts, pictures. Etc.

### 4/5 — Useful app!

*2026-04-02*

Really useful app. Now I have a place to store and organize all those quick snaps of interesting things.

Do agree with another post, the Mac app is a ported iPad app, would be nice if it were a real macOS app. It’s functional but clunky, so a star off for that.

### 5/5 — Great app for cataloging

*2026-04-02*

I was one of those folks that used to screenshot everything or send myself an email to remind me of something I’ve seen. Now I’m using this app, sorting things appropriately so they are easy to find again. The developer is super responsive to issues and landed fixes that resolved a problem with iCloud sync. Am recommending this app to others.

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2026-04-02*

This is exactly what I needed! Works great

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Is this app just saving links?

*2026-04-08*

Don’t get it… There’s already plenty of link saving apps. What’s the value prop?

**Developer response:** The app gives you the ability to share anything from anywhere into organized folders, so you don't have a camera roll full of screenshots. You can share:
- screenshots
- reels
- links
- photos
- PDFs
- anything else
The app also syncs across iCloud devices, so whatever you save on your phone you also get on your iPad or Mac.
The value proposition is that people who struggle remembering where they found things, or who currently screenshot things to save them, no longer have to do that. Their camera roll is no longer full of screenshots, and they can easily use our smart search function. It takes all the metadata from anything you find online to make anything easily findable in the future. Much better than anything you can save on your phone, which people normally save through either their notes app, photo gallery, etc.

### 1/5 — Lost Everything

*2026-04-02*

Just updated to the new “improved” version and it deleted all my old saved data. Screenshots and Links gone. I like the concept but don’t trust the app. Be careful if you plan on saving anything of importance. Back to Raindrop I go.

**Developer response:** Hi Tequilak,
In almost all cases, the library is still in iCloud and can be restored on the phone:

iPhone Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → iCloud Drive (ON) and Stash (ON)
In Stash: Settings → iCloud Sync → Manual Sync
If still empty: Settings → iCloud Sync → Danger Zone → Wipe this device & re-download, then reopen Stash.
If another device still has all data, we can fully restore from that device too. Please contact us from Settings → Help and I can walk you through it quickly.

### 1/5 — For macOS or not?

*2026-03-30*

The app description says, “Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS. The “What’s New” says, “Stash now available for macOS.” So which is it? I’ve been running it on iOS for a few days, and it works great there. I just downloaded it for macOS, but iCloud sync isn’t working. Just stays in “Syncing” status for 20+ minutes so - only have less than 10 items to sync so there’s not a ton of data to sync.

Update: iCloud sync within this app is broken or there’s a bug. I’ve been trying to get iPhone/iOS version to sync with this “MacOS” version. I changed some settings and toggled some setting on and off and now I’ve lost all my saved items in Stash. Several hours later, it’s still “syncing”.

The concept of this app is good and I want to like this app but if changing settings wipes out what you have saved then what’s the point of iCloud sync?

### 2/5 — Great idea — has bugs

*2026-06-07*

The application works great from the share sheet, but the app from the springboard is laggy. The communication around syncing is inconsistent, and I lost data when I installed to my iPad on both the iPad and iPhone. I’m sure the app will get better. I might come back at some point to see if it has.

**Developer response:** All sync issues have now been fixed with the latest patch. If you could keep both devices open at the same time and leave them on it should fix itself. 🙂

### 3/5 — Almost there

*2026-05-31*

I really love the saving workflow but I need better access to what I save through my iCloud Drive. The app is fine for some things but I want to be able to view my images with image browser or search my text with a local llm. Right now it’s just a black box that limits what I can do after I save something and subsequently my use of the app.

### 3/5 — It’s good when …

*2026-05-16*

Does not work in other browsers such as Zen, or Arc. “Could not read content” every time. Works in Safari however.

### 3/5 — For macOS or not?

UPDATE: The latest update as of this writing (3 April 2026) seems to have fixed some iCloud sync issues. The iOS sync was never an issue but it seems quicker and more responsive now.

I redownloaded the macOS version. The iCloud sync functionality has been improved, but it still seems stuck, slow, lagging, or not working. The sync status shows “Synced” but items in a Stash still show as “Downloading from iCloud”. Does macOS to iOS iCloud only work for Stash Pro? It’s not clear, from what I’ve read, if that’s yes or no.

**Developer response:** Hi Kmm825,, all fixed now. Thank you for your feedback!
___

Hi there. First off, thank you for saying the app works great on iOS. That really does mean a lot.
You're right to be confused by the mixed messaging on macOS. Let me explain what happened. Stash was originally built as an iPhone and iPad app. But so many users kept asking if they could run it on their Mac that I decided to add macOS support through Catalyst. That means the iOS app can run natively on your Mac without me needing to build an entirely separate macOS app from scratch, which for a solo developer would be a massive undertaking. It's not perfect, and Apple's store listing can be a bit odd with how it labels Catalyst apps, but the intent was simple: people wanted it on their Mac, so I tried my best to make it happen.
Now, the iCloud sync issue. This is a known bug that I've been working hard to fix. When you build sync through iCloud (which I chose specifically so I wouldn't need to charge a subscription for expensive server costs), there are differences between how it behaves in development versus production. In development, everything talks to Apple's sandbox environment, and sync works perfectly. But when the app goes live on the App Store, it switches to Apple's production iCloud servers, and that transition can introduce issues that are genuinely impossible to catch before release. It's one of the most common pain points for indie developers using CloudKit, and I completely understand how frustrating it is from your side.

The fix is coming in the next update, which should be with Apple for review very shortly. Your data should still be safe in iCloud even if it's not displaying right now, and once the patch lands, it should pull everything back in.

I hear you that losing your saved items after toggling settings is not acceptable, and I take full responsibility for that experience. But I'd really encourage you to reconsider the one star rating. This is a $10 one time purchase built by one person around a young family, and I've poured everything into making it genuinely useful. You said yourself the concept is good and it works great on iOS. A one star review can be really damaging for a small app like this, and I promise the sync fix is days away, not weeks.

If you want to reach out through the in app support, I'm happy to help you personally with getting your data back. I read and reply to every message myself.

### 3/5 — This has So Much Potential

*2026-03-30*

I love the start of this app. It is very possible that it can take over from Raindrop as my save everything app. It just needs more fine tuning. It seems to be getting there but only time will tell.
The biggest thing intends right now IMO is a Chrome Extension to save articles and other items from the web.

### 3/5 — No sync

*2026-03-30*

There is no synchronization between devices via icloud. I waited for several days, restarted, reinstalled, and kept the attachments on both devices turned on. It's no use. Fix it and I'll give you 5 stars.

**Developer response:** Hi Moolie, all fixed now. Thank you for your feedback!

Hi Moolie, I'm really sorry about this. You're absolutely right to be frustrated.
I'm a solo developer, and iCloud sync was a feature I wanted to include for free because users like you asked for it. The alternative would have been expensive cloud servers, which would have meant charging more or adding a subscription, and I didn't want to do that. So I built it through iCloud to keep costs down for everyone.
The problem is that iCloud has some quirks when you move from development into production, and unfortunately that's caused sync issues for some users. I've spent the last few days working on a fix, and it's coming in the next update, which should be with Apple for review very soon.
This app has taken a huge amount of my time and energy, and I built it around my family in whatever free time I have. I only charge a one time fee because I genuinely want it to be worth every penny. I've also been adding loads of quality of life features, and there's plenty more to come.
If you have any issues in the meantime, please reach out to me through the in app support. I read and reply to everything personally. Once the update lands and sync is working properly for you, I'd be so grateful if you'd consider updating your review. It makes a massive difference for a small developer like me.
Thank you for your patience and I promise you I'm trying to be on top of it.

### 4/5 — What I was Looking For but Limited Free Options

*2026-05-04*

My camera roll is always crowded with screenshots and inspo so this is the perfect app to not only clear the clutter but organize it into “stashes”. Because of the sheer amount I already have, the free tier looks like it will be quickly exhausted. I’m hesitant to upgrade because of uncertainty about the longevity of the app and the developer’s credibility when it comes to creating a longstanding stable app.

**Developer response:** Glad you like it! The free tier lets you test that out. The app is saved to your device. It’s an offline app. It will last forever and this will be the worst state it will ever be in.
However, I will make continuous improves as I have been making. To be fair to founders, the price will only go up for anyone purchasing who isn’t a lifetime buyer in the future.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I’m a fan

*2026-07-23*

I really love this app! I have not had any trouble with sync or things opening in my default browser - Mullvad. I am a fan of the layout/UI, notes & reminders sections, info about when you added something, the ease of moving things from one stash to another - for me, it is an all around perfect app. I’ve used Raindrop, Anybox and Capture - but this is my landing spot. I think it is a well thought out design. No subs, just a nominal one time purchase.
If I had to pick something I do not like about it - I don’t love the “Jump Back In” section at the top. It’s a little distracting to me, but that is purely personal. I’m sure it would be useful for others.

### 5/5 — Useful

*2026-07-18*

I have trouble remembering things and I’m extra terrible at coming back to things I’ve saved, mainly because of how unorganized and difficult it is. This app does the hard part for me and makes it easy to save for later the things I need. It is also great that you have many ways to customize how you save things. I definitely recommend this app!

### 5/5 — This App is my new favorite thing

*2026-06-13*

This has SAVED me! I LOVE collecting information :) i am constantly sorting through my screenshots and trying to sort via albums and it takes up a lot of storage space. I also have 100s of videos and posts saved in collections, boards and websites across multiple social media sites.
And this app is the PERFECT way for me to have a hub where I can keep posts/videos on the same topic from different apps!! And it doesn’t require me to do a bunch of extra steps or make a spreadsheet ect.

### 5/5 — Useful

*2026-06-12*

Easy to import links and screenshots. The reminder feature is useful

### 5/5 — Terrific

*2026-06-02*

As someone who takes hundreds of screenshots and often forgets about them this app is amazing. Great idea, app works flawlessly!

### 5/5 — This is something I didn't know I need.

*2026-05-25*

This is an incredible little app.

I use Anybox, but I love this because it lets me separate the things I want to keep pictorially.

It really is functional and helpful.

Very responsive developer who really cares about his app.

### 5/5 — Really kool utility

*2026-05-23*

I like it so far. Maybe add little bit more explanation as in images are still in iPhone memory just organized better.

### 5/5 — Fantastic to use

*2026-05-23*

Absolutely frictionless to add to any workflow. The app itself is intuitive and just makes sense. Will definitely be looking forward to having random junk saved in my notes and camera roll I can never find. After one day of use I saw the value and went with the pro version. Incredible and simple little app. Thank you

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-05-22*

This app is so quick and easy to use sorting things out in folders. It was an instant purchase, once you start using and see how it functions the app will become one of your most used apps. I’m hoping the developer can add a feature to open links and things within Stash Anything, great developer and app.

### 5/5 — Incredibly useful

*2026-05-20*

I use it for everything, from storing recipes to keeping up a wishlist to marking web sites I need to revisit. And, now that he has added sub-stashes, it’s even more useful.
But the best part of this app is the responsiveness of the developer.
