It is so useful to keep track of my stash and sewing projects. It works brilliantly and does everything you might want and a lot more! I have been adding all my patterns and fabric stash. It has been so easy. I found several patterns that I had bought twice and one I had three copies of, with this app it won’t happen again unless I need an extra copy. The developer has updated it a couple of times in the few weeks since I have had it. Each update adds a new way of adding information. Simply brilliant. As a new update I would love to see a section for embroidery designs. This however would be a luxury. The app has crashed twice during bulk adds, and I’ve lost about 50 fabric uploads (several hours worth!) ### 3/5 — Update messed up things *2025-12-03* Great app, but the most recent update suddenly doesn't work with a lot of websites when trying to use the magic input. Trying to add fabric is difficult since the websites don't allow saving pictures so now it's all cropped screenshots. **Developer response:** Hi. Thanks for letting us know. We've done a big overhaul of Magic Input and it works much better now. ### 3/5 — Great potential but loses data *2025-06-15* This app would be a lifesaver but I have entered so many patterns that have just disappeared. I’m working now to load in some vintage German language Burda patterns, which is a very laborious and manual process since I have to take photos and enter the details. I’ve done this 3 times and there’s nothing that has saved. I’m leery of continuing to use this app and spend SO MUCH TIME entering patterns, only for those hours to be completely wasted. I have entered a ticket but haven’t received any acknowledgment that the ticket was received or that there is a solve. **Developer response:** Hi. Have you accidentally created a new account? ### 3/5 — Excellent, except… *2022-12-29* I just downloaded this app today, and so far it looks and works impeccably. It is truly THE app for which the sewing community has been waiting! You could kill yourself to store all of this information personally curated spreadsheets and Pinterest boards or google folders (and indeed, more than one sewist said that was their process for organizing sewing data when I asked for app recommendations🤯), and have it be cumbersome and tedious to manage that info, or you could just download this app and have everything available. It is intuitive organizationally, it makes sense visually…it really works. However. I’m concerned about the price, and/or about what’s offered if you don’t subscribe. I really want this app to make it, I really do think it’s perfect, but the subscription price is going to be prohibitive for most people, especially since the features that can truly be tested are so limited in the free version. (And something must be prohibiting most sewists from downloading and buying and loving, because I see only four reviews for a four year old app.) Only being able to store 20 fabrics or patterns or projects…we’re habitual stash builders, 20 is barely scratching the surface! I don’t think amazing apps should be free, I believe in paying for craftsmanship and an excellent product, but I think amazing apps should offer enough in their free-ness to convince the users to go for the premium version. ### 4/5 — Great idea *2025-12-26, version 1.46.1* Great idea for stash. Unfortunately I am a fabric collector and it seems to have a maximum number of 150 items not recommended for serious collectors that still wish to use up their collection of Fabrics. I quilt and sew garments so this has been a disappointment with this particular app. ### 4/5 — Good app *2025-10-24* This app is really good and easy to use, but I think it would be even better if you could add more features — like having different user roles and an admin option. That way, not every user would be able to delete or edit records. In a company setting where multiple people are making entries, one person could accidentally or intentionally delete important data. I took this as a Divine Intervention (or Inspiration) I’ve now uploaded about 90% of my patterns and fabrics. And this has helped me so much on matching both and planning projects. Also the myriad of notions bought over the years. I’m now going to see more sustainably ### 4/5 — Great app *2023-04-26* This is desperately in need of a search and some minor adjustments, like showing fabrics not assigned to a category and tagging on notions, but overall it’s a good app and well worth the money. The App is cool and organized, here and there things can be better (i would like a drag and drop tool to sort the entries) but overall it’s nice. For myself the price is too high. It took me a full three days to input all of my fabric and patterns, but my goodness now that it’s done it has been such an improvement! I actually think I’m using what I have more often now. It’s easy to keep up if you just add a newly purchased pattern or fabric immediately once you have bought it using the “Magic Input.” I also love how I can log my projects and keep notes on each. Such a game changer. ### 5/5 — LOVE THIS APP *2026-08-15* I have had this app for over a year and it just keeps getting better. You can tell there is a sewist in the design somewhere. I travel a lot and it allows me to do some planning while I’m on the go. It’s great for getting inspiration. I can see my patterns easily, before I would look through my computer at a list of pattern names. I subscribe to it a while back to keep track of my makes, extensive stash and pattern collection. It also has a range of functions essential for every sewing enthusiast. I use it on my iPhone, iPad and on my computer. I used to have a database I custom designed to house this information. Now I prefer to use Stash Hub. It’s single-handedly responsible for getting me excited about sewing again after over a decade hiatus.
