### 2/5 — Middle of the road in functionality so far with paid services

It’s better than using safari on the phone. I paid for premium but the OCR is not functioning to pull what I have from either label or barcode with no obstruction. This accessibility feature please needs to be refined for constant back to back look ups and actually allowing it to add to stash from the stash menu.

The yarn scanner is free for everyone. There are two different scanners in the app:

The scanner under Stash → New Entry adds yarn to your stash by reading the label and filling in the details.

The scanner in the Yarn Database only searches for the yarn, so it does not add anything to your stash.

If you do not see the camera icon under Stash, please check that Assisted Features are enabled in Settings.

I also checked the scan logs from the 26th/27th. All scans except one returned matches from the Ravelry yarn database. Please try again, and if it still does not work, contact me through the Feedback button and tell me which yarn you scanned.

I’ve been a Raveler for over 18 years, and I love it. While it does have a mobile version, I find it lacks some of the functionality of the full site.

This app makes accessing Ravelry from a mobile device that much easier, and it not only has all the features, it’s quite easy to navigate around.

Man kann super leicht Muster finden und abspeichern, es ist viel angenehmer auf dem Handy als die Ravelry Website. Die anderen Funktionen nutze ich nicht, dazu kann ich also nichts sagen

En toute honnêteté, je ne peux plus me passer de cette appli. La seule chose que je regrette, c’est que je n’arrive pas à changer l’ordre de ma file d’attente de projet sur le téléphone mais sinon j’adore

 Et vous avez entièrement raison pour la file d'attente. Réorganiser l'ordre de ses projets directement depuis le téléphone n'est pas encore possible aujourd'hui, et c'est un oubli de notre côté, pas une erreur de la vôtre. Bonne nouvelle :  je corrige ça dès la prochaine mise à jour. Vous pourrez alors glisser vos projets pour les remettre dans l'ordre que vous voulez, directement sur mobile.

I think I’ve tried every app that syncs with ravelry and this is my favourite. Particularly like how fast it is to upload photos to projects. Syncs very fast with ravelry. Nice simple navigation. Looking forward to more features.

I love this new app. I have use the Lite one for a few years. I love being able to look up my stash and tools when I am in a store to better manage my buying. The only reason it is a 4 is that I am struggling a bit with getting the counters set up properly. Truthfully it might be me not understanding something about them or maybe better now that I updated the app. Would love it there were some tutorial videos for some of the features

Drag the tabs on a pattern or a project into your own order, set once and used from then on. Needles that came from Ravelry can be lent out now.

Clearer buttons in every theme, a gentler dark mode, sharper Ravelry photos, and upgrading to remove ads works again on a tablet, where there had been no way to buy at all.

See a pattern in your own yarn before you cast on (beta) feature. Give each colour one of your yarns, or any colour from the wheel, and the designer's photos appear in your colours, with the shadows and the stitch texture still there. The Colour Swatcher is beta and off by default: switch it on in Settings, Assisted Features. Nothing about you is sent anywhere.

This update brings practical improvements for knitters across projects, feeds, row counters, PDFs, and tools.

The pooling calculator now shows every stitch count again, with full swatch previews, improved colour-pattern calculations, and an optional “Best first” ranking.

Row repeats are easier to set up and edit, with clearer validation and accurate total row counts.

Your For You feed now better reflects the crafts you actually make (e.g. mix of own projects to reflect the same mix in the feed for craft type). The Friends feed can also be filtered by activity type, feed settings are simpler, notes display with proper formatting, and loading is smoother.

Projects can now include your own links to blog posts, videos, shops, and other useful resources.

Pattern PDFs are easier to access, archived forum topics can be shown, and reply notifications now include the topic name.

AI-assisted features (still) remain off by default and can be disabled completely with one account-wide setting.

Also included: weaving project tools in beta and numerous bug fixes.
