## What is StashTracker Pro?

Your band's gear. Finally under control.

StashTracker Pro is the free equipment management app built specifically for bands and musicians. Log every piece of gear your band owns, know exactly where it is, and never argue about who has what again.

— TRACK EVERYTHING —
Add any piece of equipment with a photo, barcode, serial number, owner, and location. Search instantly across your entire inventory by name, barcode, or serial number.

— KNOW WHERE IT IS —
Assign gear to locations — rehearsal space, storage, someone's house, the venue. See your full inventory grouped by location at a glance.

— BARCODE SCANNING & LABEL PRINTING —
Scan barcodes to find items instantly. Print professional barcode labels directly to your Brother label printer so every piece of gear is always identifiable.

— OWNERSHIP THAT MAKES SENSE —
Gear belongs to people, not just bands. Track who owns what, submit ownership claims, and let admins keep everything accurate. A full audit trail shows every change, move, and handover — timestamped and attributed.

— BUILT FOR BANDS —
Multiple members, multiple roles. Admins approve new gear and location changes. Members can suggest changes and claim ownership. Everyone stays on the same page without stepping on each other.

— MULTI-BAND SUPPORT —
In more than one band? Switch between them instantly. Each band has its own inventory, members, and locations.

— CONTAINERS & FLIGHT CASES —
Group gear inside flight cases, bags, or racks. Move the container and everything inside moves with it.

— PRIVATE & SECURE —
Your data is stored securely in Europe (AWS Ireland). We never sell your data, never show ads, and never will. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

StashTracker Pro is free. No subscription, no hidden fees.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.50 — 2026-07-31

Loadout Builder, rebuilt

Building a gig loadout is faster and easier to read. Every location selector now sits together at the top, item rows are compact with swipe-to-delete, and each location carries its own packed/total count and status pill — so you can see what's done without expanding anything.

Your own card stays outlined while you're packing and turns green when you're finished. So does everyone else's; previously only your own section changed. And any location can now be handed to another band member or to external crew, not just shared ones.

Kits — your own reusable gear sets

Save a named set of gear you always bring, then drop it into any gig in one tap. Kits are personal: yours alone, invisible to the rest of the band, and they follow you across every band you're in.

Kits are templates. Adding one to a gig copies the items into that loadout, so editing or deleting a kit later never disturbs a gig you've already packed. Tap ADD KIT while building a loadout, or manage them under Profile > My Kits.

Drop-off, done properly

Drop-off is for gear that doesn't come home with you after the show — the amp that stays at the rehearsal room, the case that lives at the venue.

Give any packed item a drop-off location and it now appears straight away, before the gig, instead of only turning up afterwards. Check items off as you drop them and they collapse into a "Dropped off" group showing where each one ended up. Unpack something and it leaves the drop-off list; pack it again and it returns to the location you'd already chosen. New PACK LIST and DROP OFF LIST headers keep the two jobs clearly apart.

Also in this release

Three new themes — Trooper, Fear and Frontier. A new splash screen. Faster gear and location lists with a smoother expand animation, plus a long list of smaller layout and reliability fixes.

### 1.40 — 2026-07-08

What's New in This Version
A complete redesign. StashTracker has a brand-new look from top to bottom — a warm, studio-inspired dark theme built for quick reads in dim rehearsal spaces and backstage corners. Every screen has been rebuilt.

Smarter gig loadouts. Gear is now grouped by the person responsible for it — your items front and center, everyone else's a tap away. Sections show packed counts at a glance and turn green when everything's ready to go.

Shared locations. Locations can now be shared between bands, so gear stored at the same place shows up correctly for everyone. In a gig, shared locations get their own section — assign a responsible person with a single tap, and unassigned locations are flagged red so nothing gets left behind.

Pick-up flexibility. Different gig, different driver — responsibility for a shared location is set per gig, not locked to one person.

Fixes and polish. Notification badge now shows the correct count, equipment lists refresh instantly after moving gear, and dozens of smaller fixes throughout.

### 1.30 — 2026-04-25

What's New in 1.30
Gig Loadout is here. Build equipment lists for upcoming gigs, assign who's responsible for each item, and track what's packed. Your "My Gear" view shows exactly what you need to bring to the next show, and you can print a full loadout PDF for the crew.
Band members now get an automatic push notification 2 days before every gig.
Face ID and Touch ID have been fixed and now trigger reliably at launch.
This update also includes a range of bug fixes and performance improvements, including faster image loading, color-coded status badges, and a login screen that no longer freezes on first tap.

### 1.21 — 2026-04-19

# StashTracker Pro — Version 1.21

## What's New

### Location Editing
Band members can now edit location details (address, notes, contact) and changes save immediately. Admins are notified and can review the change — approving keeps it, rejecting reverts to the previous value and notifies the member with an optional reason.

### Pending Approvals — Location Edits
The admin approvals screen now shows a dedicated section for location edits, with a clear diff of what changed (old value struck through, new value below). Approve in one tap or reject with a reason.

### Onboarding
Added a fourth onboarding slide covering Gig Loadouts. Superadmins can now toggle onboarding on/off from the Profile tab for testing.

# StashTracker Pro — Version 1.2

## What's New

### Gig Loadouts
Build a gear loadout for every gig. Add equipment from your band's inventory, assign responsible persons per item, and track what's been packed with a single tap. Loadouts are grouped by storage location so everyone knows where to collect their gear.

- **Songs & Setlists** — link equipment to songs, then import a full setlist's gear into a loadout in one tap. Green indicators show which gear is already covered.
- **Notify Band** — push notification and email to all band members (or a selected few) when the loadout is ready.
- **My Gear tab** — each member sees only the items they're responsible for, with packed checkboxes.
- **Full Loadout tab** — the complete picture, grouped by location and sorted by responsible person.

### Print Loadout
Generate a print-ready PDF of any gig loadout directly from the app — identical to the web portal's print view. Includes a summary sheet grouped by location, and a detailed tile page per 4 items with equipment photos, owner info, serial numbers, barcodes, and recent history. Share via AirPrint, Files, or email.

### Band Members
Access the full band member list directly from the Profile tab. View roles, promote or remove members, and share the invite code — without leaving your phone.

### Faster Photo Loading
Equipment thumbnails now load from a server-side cache and are stored locally after first load. Photos no longer reload when scrolling through the gear list.

### Search Improvements
The gear search bar now has a Cancel button that dismisses the keyboard in one tap.

## Bug Fixes

- Responsible person assignments no longer silently retain ex-members. Stale assignments are flagged with a warning and cleared when you next open the loadout builder.
- Gig responsibilities banner on the Gear tab now loads correctly on first launch.
- Compiler warnings across multiple files resolved.
- Location view Swift 6 concurrency warnings fixed.
