I was disappointed when the paper got rid of most of the local writers. We need reporters who do the research. Otherwise, no one knows what is going on—good or bad Well, I have seen a change lately with more important issues on the front page & throughout the paper. Keep going!! ### 4/5 — Glitchy but when it works it’s fine. *2022-12-14, version 3.6.13* App seems to only load up (very slowly) one every two or three attempts. Just sits and spins doing nothing. Close it out open it back up same. Close it out open the lsj app close LSJ app , open LSJ newspaper app and then it works. Daily chore so only 4 stars could’ve been three really, when it works it’s good though. After the last iso update paper won’t load and app constantly crashes tried deleting and reloading app, still won’t download paper and constantly crashes 3,4 times before I can get trough the paper. And, the quality of the publication itself leaves much to be desired. But, it's all we have. Almost 1/3 of my PURCHASE is missing, or to blurry to even read! I restarted my iPad to see if that helped. IT DID NOT!! I’ve been a customer for almost forty years. Way to many times it freezes up, some days to the point where it doesn’t work at all! Deleted ### 2/5 — LSJ is a Necessary Evil *2018-06-11, version 2.6.87* It’s good for obits and paper training your dog and not much else, especially since it’s become part of USA Today, which you can get delivered free to your hotel door! No Doonesbury (even reruns are wonderful), very little substantive news. I do miss the Saturday printed edition and resent the requirement of having to log in in order to read it. Even though I see many errors and wonder if anyone ever proofreads their articles. I also see acronyms that do not site the meaning, therefore I have to either look them up or hope that it will be spelled out in the article. I also see that even the head of the health department is unaware of the VAERS information about the jab causing childhood respiratory disease.
