When approaching another state, we open State Lines to review traffic laws, speed limits, towing laws, helmet laws, sales tax, alcohol (state controlled or widely available) and the list goes on. So I gave it a one-star review because it felt like a bait-and-switch. Now that they're going to keep updating this one, though, I'm happy again! The app really is useful when you're driving to/through new states. I'd love to see child restraint laws added. (IIHS has a good overview that would be easy to incorporate, I imagine.) ### 5/5 — A real find *2011-09-09, version 1.4* As avid RV's, my wife and I are on the road some 300 days per year. With diesel tax info, firearm carry info, who is required to stop for a school bus (on a divided 4 lane), plus other info, this app is a real asset to our travels. Have not been using it long, but it has already paid for itself. Needs an easy way to submit new info and new categories. ### 4/5 — Fuel tax rate *2011-08-04* We find it use to check diesel tax rates as we travel, We have a large motor home so we like to save money when we can! We live in Ca. Diesel tax is very high so we fill-up in Nv. And hope to make it out, Before we have to fill up again. As we were traveling east this week we found that Wy. Taxes were much lower than Ne. I drive through many states on a regular basis and the laws have changed a lot from what the app reports. It would also be nice if you would include the laws/rules/restrictions regarding marijuana. ### 2/5 — Because You Say It Doesn’t Make It So *2023-10-08, version 2023.9* ✓ I understand it is time consuming to proved accurate information in your app, but as a purchaser of your product it can be costly to me when you abbreviate the information. Your app says Ohio’s overnight rest stop rule allows for a max 3 hr stay. That’s not right based on my 60 years living in the Buckeye state and a little online research and a chat with a nice Ohio State Trooper at a rest stop off I-70 E near the Indiana/Ohio state line. There is no rule on how long you can stay at an a rest area in Ohio. The closest info found is a maximum 3 hr limit for an unattended vehicle. However Ohio allows any occupied vehicle to stay as long as it takes to get rested to resume driving safely. Because continuing to drive any vehicle when your tired is dangerous, I’m glad I fact checked your app info. We boondock end from about 7:30 pm to a little before 8 am the next morning. No problems from authorities or our big rig neighbors. I’ll keep the app because I paid for it. But I’ll due my own fact checking. Too bad there’s no way to submit updates to you. The sentences at the top and bottom are cut off. One thing that needs changing is the the term 'triple-tow'. It should be 'double-tow'! Triple towing is not legal anywhere.
