It should be set up just like a checkbook register, as this app is an electronic representation of a checkbook register. Balances should be shown for each debit or deposit. Dates don’t necessarily match up either. The way direct deposit transactions are logged is ridiculous. SSB has received the direct deposit, but because their lazy employees haven’t “batched” the deposit, your balance reflects the deposit, yet no deposit or date shows on your register.
