## What is State Statute & Federal Law?

Statutes for New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, Ohio and more - plus the full US Code - on your phone, offline. Updated as each state publishes new data.

The exact text of the law, not a summary of it. Built for the moment you need to read the actual statute: on a shoulder, in a courthouse hallway, in a basement with no signal.

WHY PROFESSIONALS USE IT

• Fully offline. Once a title is downloaded it works with no connection, no signal and no cell data. Nothing loads from the web when you search.
• Updated at the source. Titles refresh as each state publishes new data - the app tracks state legislature sites directly, so amendments reach you without you going looking for them.
• Complete records. Full statute text, not headnotes and not excerpts.
• Fast search.
• Favorites and bookmarks for the sections you return to daily.
• Your own notes on any section, stored and backed up in iCloud.
• Favorites sync and restore through iCloud across your devices.
• Dark mode throughout.

BUILT FOR

Police and law enforcement · Attorneys and public defenders · Paralegals and legal assistants · Investigators · Court staff · Corrections and probation · Code enforcement · Law students

MOST-USED TITLES

New Jersey Title 2C (Criminal Justice) and Title 39 (Motor Vehicles). Pennsylvania Title 18 (Crimes) and Title 75 (Vehicle Code). New York Penal Law and Vehicle & Traffic Law. Florida Title XLVI (Crimes) and Chapter 316. Ohio Revised Code Titles 29 and 45. Texas Penal Code. Plus criminal procedure, civil practice, tax, insurance and education codes across every state in the library.

STATES AND JURISDICTIONS INCLUDED

HOW IT WORKS

Buy only the titles you need, or a complete set for a state. Free titles are included so you can see the format before you buy. More states are added on an ongoing basis.

Agencies, firms and unions: contact us about title access for your personnel. Requests for a state or title we do not yet carry are welcome - email us and we will tell you where it stands.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2025-09-20*

I wanted to see if this app provided me any additional information that I haven’t stumbled upon on the web. So I figured I’d give this app and chance and signed up for the 3 day trial. I go through the process to iniate the trial through the App Store and received notification I was good to go. So I log back onto the app and it’s still acting as if I didn’t sign up. So if I cancelled. I’m not wasting my time figuring out how to make the thing work when thousands upon thousands of other apps don’t seem to have usability issues. Maybe when the owners of this app finish middle school I’ll reconsider.

### 4/5 — "State Statute & Federal Law" app

*2025-02-19, version 14.40.00*

Regarding the
"State Statute & Federal Law" app,
and also so far, TWO of their "Complete Sets".

If not for the notes in the caveat section below, I would give this app 6 or 7 STARS.

FUNCTIONALITY/ESTHETICS: 6 STARS
--Very well organized;

--Excellent screen and information layouts,
    and labels/descriptions,
    resulting in great ease of use - the app designer clearly cares about the organized and visual ease of use of their "State Statute & Federal Law" app;

--New Super Important Feature: easy to copy text from the app for use in other documents;

--Extremely helpful attractive icons including both the main home screen icon, AND the icons inside the app, of the different collections of statutes and codes;

--"State Statute & Federal Law" app arguably has some of the BEST LOOKING ICONS of any apps: strong subtle icon images with great coloring.

CUSTOMER SERVICE/TECH HELP: 7 STARS
--Absolutely Exemplary! It is difficult to imagine better tech support than I received when I recently had an issue. Kaboserv.com Development LLC's tech support quickly and helpfully replied to my questions, AND provided solutions, and provided multiple solution paths, AND provided additional informations beyond my direct questions that led to my being able to SMOOTHLY SOLVE the problem I was experiencing. Tech support was EXCELLENT and helped solve the app issue I was having QUICKLY and SMOOTHLY.

RECOMMENDATION CAVEAT:
Their privacy policy is disappointing, including that they assert that they can turn off, or even remove documents/document subscriptions that one has already purchased / subscribed to..

So these points should be taken into account, noting that these aspects are unfortunately counter to being pro-privacy, and pro-freedom, which are important issues, which are increasing in importance in these times/our times of changes.

SUGGESTIONS:
1. I would suggest the developer to remove the offensive privacy issues, AND INSTEAD build more sales by CREATING MORE SET PACKAGES that could be purchased from the developer. (for instance:
---UCC,
---various UN codes,
---International codes,
---other country codes,
---city codes,
---township/county regulations, etc.
---even ancient and other historical codes could be made into for sale PACKAGE SETS).
2. Subscriptions ending should not effect items that have been already downloaded: just exactly as I do not want the publishers of my magazine subscriptions, removing my subscribed older issues from my bookshelves or waiting room. While I would happily pay for annual subscriptions for updates and for additional statutes and codes sets, paying to not have already paid for and received subscription removed, decreases not increases my long term ownership/collection/purchase decisions and actions.

SUMMATION:
I have multiple of their "complete sets" and
I find them to be VERY Helpful.
So despite,
The privacy issues policy being poor,
The app functionality is EXCELLENT
The tech help is superbly EXCELLENT
The visual look of the app is EXCELLENT

If not for the caveats above I would give this app 6 or 7 STARS.

If you are concerned about tech support with this app, I can assure you my recent experience with the tech support/app developer was/has been EXCELLENT.

Hope this helps.

### 2/5 — No app support

*2024-11-14, version 14.33.00*

Title 75 does not display the table of contents page or the definitions section 102. The developers offer no support page and do not respond to posted comments page either.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-11-08, version 14.33.00*

Very useful app, developers keep up with updates frequently.

### 1/5 — Am I missing something?

*2024-04-13, version 14.31.00*

Why isn’t Alabama listed?

### 5/5 — MUST HAVE APP FOR CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROFESSIONALS

*2023-02-21*

a must and mandatory app to have for criminal justice professionals. Has all the case law and allows for key search words throughout the entire statute. Definitely worth the yearly purchase which include updates to new revisions. Can’t beat it. Thank you to the developer/s of the app.

### 1/5 — The sleeze is real

*2023-02-12, version 14.22.01*

Really? $5 a month to have a copy of laws you could literally get yourself if you look online?

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2021-10-12*

A lot of reviews people are complaining about the cost, but it’s 100% worth it. Not to mention the developer is constantly making changes for the better and thats not free lol this app is super conveniant and has been nothing short of fantastic. The developer is quick to resolve any issues and the customer service is great.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for the kind words and your support! We truly appreciate you recognizing the work that goes into keeping the app current and continually improving it. We’re glad to hear the app has been a valuable resource for you.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2020-12-21, version 9.20.2*

A keyword search, probably the most important feature of an app like this, is beyond terrible. It defeats the whole purpose of purchasing an app like this. Google works much better and faster. Save your money.

### 1/5 — Scammed previous customers

*2020-08-12, version 7.0*

Before the update this app was Pay one time app.
Customers were forced to update the app making it useless. Now they want existing customers to re-purchase the app. Douche move. I’ll stick with my title 39 handy book.
