So why am I still getting ads shoved down my throat? Hit the upgrade button once too many times, boom, immediate ad. At the rewards screen, ad offered. At the prebattle screen, ad offered. I literally paid for their removal, stop making it so I can be teleported off to the App Store at any moment. ### 3/5 — It has areas to improve *2026-08-05, version 4.1.1* As someone that’s been regularly playing for a long time through many updates for the game. The new mechanic for the shield to have a health and then an ability waiting time to add it. Is stupidly unbalanced and the old mechanic for the shield was mathematical better. In “hard” or “extra hard” levels it’s impossible to beat enemies that’s x2 your base troop amount and production speed when the new shield they can use can just slap 300+ health on a base every 20 seconds. It makes it mathematically impossible to beat the enemy and only did it because the AI randomly stopped attacking for a full minute. Extra hard levels make u an underdog so you have to use skill. The new mechanics just make the levels unecessarily impossible for most players. Secondly is the introduction of the new currency to upgrade troops or base abilities etc, money was a better economy system and allows players to choose what to buy with money. Not hav to get a whole new type of currency. My rating of 1/5 will stay until this changes. Edit to review: my review now stands at 3/5 At the moment the new update of the game still holds scrutiny after getting over the jarring initial jump from the old version. 1. The upgrading system for the “Squad” categories for general, unit, and Base, are a new and functioning concept however I’m constantly at 130/4 cards for everything and barely get enough “supplies” currency to upgrade them and keep up. 2. A suggestion for difficulty and level variance is to increase battlefield and map size, and opponent amounts for extra hard levels primarily. This will be more aligned with the loading screen of the game and adds more strategy and difference 3. While extra hard levels should offer enemies with higher garrison, productions, and capacity of units in their base. Extra hard levels allow enemies to use upgrades, with unreasonably disproportionate amounts of power, particularly the shield enemies. Having my own maximum capacity be 300 and the enemies capacity 700 on an extra hard level; adding 400 points of shield on their bases every half a minute makes levels unbelievably difficult to navigate, less in a way that’s proportionately difficult, but rather one that only shrinks gameplay to one type (letting other overpowered enemies battle it out) leaving more luck and less skill, thus less fun. I reccomend that the production, capacity, and garrison stay the same, but when enemies can use abilities (Generals) they are 1:1 in power and level as the player. This offers a difficulty in health but not in power, making an unreasonably brutish group of enemies killing each other, a more challenging game for skill and cunning. Please consider these updates to improve the game, specifically the last, as they can or are essential to creating a great experience. 3.5/5 ### 1/5 — Nothing but ads *2026-08-05, version 4.1.1* This game has been reworked to make you have to watch 4 ads to pass a hard or very hard level. Some ads take 60-90 seconds each. How else can you beat a computer that generates a 6K+ shield every 40 seconds when you start with nothing. Y’all ruined something enjoyable. I recommend the version from last year. I hope many other people leave the game so you’ll realize just how bad this update is.
