And it’s just the US States. Their sister app (Worldle) has world countries and flags split down into continents. When it said that the United States wasn’t the name of a country, I put in the state name instead of the country and it was correct. It tells you the distance away from the correct answer, so when you get it right, it’s 0 miles. What makes it kind of stupid, is that you aren’t selecting the state on a map, so if you answer wrong, the distance from the correct state is irrelevant. In actuality, when you get it wrong, it’s not necessarily the location that you didn’t know, but rather you didn’t know the name of the state based on its silhouette. Then, after only a few rounds, the app wants to charge you a recurring charge to continue playing. I know for a fact it’s the capital of Alaska, but it told me I was wrong and that it was the capital of Alabama?! Tutorial pages (1, 2, 3) 2. Prompt me to give the app five stars in App Store 3. A page prompting to purchase the game. This page was “sneakily” designed to make users think “You have to pay before continuing” as well. But i was wrong. One time i was playing and it asked me, “What state is Montgomery in?” and i typed in Alabama. Alabama showed up as wrong, and said it was 2000 miles away.I was confused so i asked my dad the same question. He also said Alabama. So i went and looked at a map, and guess what. It was in Alabama.
