Extremely clean UI, with nice large type, directionals, no nonsense approach. All functionality and so-far bulletproof. Previously when I was on my train commute to the Ferry, I would constantly be checking to see if I was going to make a certain boat, now after I select the Ferry I want the app tells me how much time I have to get there. Choosing Whitehall or St George departures is a single button and another interface is provided for the out-of-sequence Sat-Sun-and-one-Monday-boat schedule. Automated time saver: I would usually write to my family or call them to say which boat I would be on. Now I just use the email or SMS feature to send my selected boat ahead to whomever I choose. One ask: on the email push, it would be nice if it were HTML with a small illustration of the Ferry as a header... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Nothing special *2023-04-16, version 2.2* This app does not alert you of delayed departures or canceled departures. It just shows the same time all the time. If you’re taking the Staten Island Ferry, this app is the best choice. It gives the full schedule, the next ferry, knows what side you’re on, and will even give you a walking route if you’re lost. With that, it can tell you what ferry you’ll make, when you’re far away.
