## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0.0 — 2026-07-15

StatFlight 3.0! **What's New: Certification & Licensure Tracking**

Your certifications have deadlines. Now StatFlight tracks them the way it tracks everything else — precisely, and without you having to think about it until it matters.

**Track every credential that keeps you working**
NREMT national and state-level requirements for EMT and Paramedic. RN licensure. FP-C and other specialty certs. Fixed-expiration course cards — BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, TPATC, TNCC — all in one place, grouped by type instead of buried in folders and photo libraries.

**Log hours the way you actually earn them**
Some courses count toward more than one requirement at once. StatFlight now handles that correctly — split hours across categories, or apply full credit to each when your certificate says so, with the basis for that credit documented and exportable. No more guessing where a course "should" go.

**Scan it. Don't type it.**
Point your camera at a certificate — or import the PDF your provider actually sent you — and let StatFlight read the title, provider, date, and hours for you. Confirm the category, save, done. Built for the field, not a filing cabinet.

**Know before it's a problem**
Alerts at 90, 60, 30, and 15 days out — not just when your total hours are short, but when a *specific* required category still needs attention. That's the gap that actually catches people at renewal.

**One tap, audit-ready**
Every credential exports to a clean, dated PDF — hours by category, every entry, every attachment, ready to hand to an auditor, a credentialing board, or your own peace of mind.

Included with your StatFlight subscription. No new app, no new login — the same tool you already trust for mission logs now covers the paperwork that keeps you certified to fly.

*StatFlight tracks and organizes your data — it doesn't verify it against any accrediting body. You're responsible for confirming your hours, dates, and requirements with your certifying organization.*

What’s New

BLS skills are now tracked in StatFlight.

Every EMS provider performs BLS skills. Day one on the truck. Twenty years in. That work is part of your career record and it belongs in your log. This update adds BLS skill tracking so the full scope of your operational experience gets documented, not just the advanced interventions.

StatFlight now covers the complete range of EMS practice. EMT to flight paramedic. Ground to air. The platform was always built for both. Now it reflects both completely.

Date selection has been updated based on feedback from the field. Bug fixes and performance improvements included.

### 1.6.3 — 2026-03-17

StatFlight Update

This update introduces StatFlight Backup, a new feature designed to help clinicians protect and move their mission history when upgrading or changing devices.

StatFlight was built to help EMS professionals maintain a personal record of their experience. With this update, users can now export a secure backup of their mission history and restore it on another device.

This update also expands the ALS skills tracking options within the mission log to better reflect how procedures are actually performed in the field and to support clinicians earlier in their careers.
New Features:

StatFlight Backup:
You can now export a structured backup file containing your mission history, notes, reflections, and profile information. This backup can be imported into StatFlight on another device to restore your records.

Import and Restore:
StatFlight backups can now be imported through the Settings menu, allowing your mission history to be restored when installing the app on a new device.

Backup Status:
A new Backup Status indicator shows when your last backup was created and how many missions have been logged since then.
Backup Reminders:
StatFlight will occasionally suggest creating a backup after a number of missions have been logged to help ensure your experience history remains protected.
Backup Verification:
After creating a backup, StatFlight confirms the number of missions and records included so you know exactly what was saved.

Expanded ALS Skill Tracking:
Several procedure categories now include more detailed logging options:
-Intubation now includes a dropdown to document Video Laryngoscopy or Direct Laryngoscopy
-Chest Decompression now includes a dropdown for Needle Thoracostomy or Finger Thoracostomy
-IV Placement added as a trackable ALS skill
-Medication Administration added as a trackable ALS skill with a text-entry field for documenting the medication given
These additions help better represent real-world clinical experience and support students, new clinicians, and early-career providers as they build and document their procedural history.

Why This Matters
StatFlight is the first-of-its-kind mission log built for Air and Ground EMS. It helps clinicians quantify and qualify their experience while maintaining a personal record of the work they do throughout their careers.

The new backup system helps ensure that record stays with you as your devices change over time, while the expanded skills tracking allows clinicians to capture a more accurate picture of their operational experience.
Please reach out with any questions or suggestions on how StatFlight can be improved. The goal is to be the most useful and powerful tool that clinicians have to manage their own history. Be safe out there and good luck.

Mission Log PDF Export — Updated Layout
The Mission Log PDF export has been refined for improved readability and consistency. The updated layout better reflects how providers actually review, store, and share their experience—whether for personal records, evaluations, or career documentation.
