I barely use it. The complexity is more trouble than it's worth to me (a moderately sophisticated forecast consumer for several decades), but it might be everything that a highly sophisticated user might want. It just doesn't help me like I imagined it would. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2026-06-18* As a pilot, I think there are at least a few other apps out there that are FAR more helpful. Have to pay extra to get current ATIS when I can simply call? Simpler yet, have to dig to get latest METAR (although I think current ATIS is more important), as opposed to making it more intuitive? I shouldn’t have to pay extra or even “dig” to get that info Just sayin. Will likely delete this app. Update: the developer got back to me. “… one subscription unlocks every feature”. My point exactly! I want more info than the app offers for free and know how to get it (relatively quickly) without paying for it. So, no, it’s not working for me. It might take me a minute or two more to get the info I want for free, but I simply can’t justify paying for info that is out there for free. Well, kudos to the developer for at least responding. **Developer response:** Hi Flynbug, thanks for the honest feedback. Quick clarification: there’s no separate ATIS charge — one subscription unlocks every feature, D-ATIS included. The current METAR is on the first details page and updates automatically. You can also reorder the details pages, so ATIS or METAR can come first to match how you fly. Happy to hear more if it still doesn’t fit. Oliver ### 2/5 — Format has changed *2026-06-07, version 26.2.7* This app used to be better! I used to be able to add individual stations that I wanted to have quick access to. Now I am forced to create a flight to see weather and notams. ### 2/5 — "Free" trials *2026-04-03, version 11.7.2* Hate to sign uo for a free trial just to see if this would work or me. Free trials inevitably result in unintended subscriptions Why not simply have a new user try it out for free for a day and then possibly ask them for a free trial after which they can decide to go for it or not ### 2/5 — Insuffisant *2025-11-06* Ne fait que se planter dès lors qu’on sollicite trop l’application .Complètement instable ### 4/5 — Widgets *2025-10-22* Depuis quelques jours impossible d’obtenir les infos sur un widget. ### 4/5 — Amazing app. But…. *2025-05-22* Only with the pro subscription you can actually have the widgets etc. additionally the D-ATIS is only available for 80 US Airports. I wish this would have been communicated to me before I purchased the pro subscription. This felt like I was cheated a little. But anyways good job on the app. ### 2/5 — Keeps getting worse *2024-11-21* I’ve used the app for almost 2 years now and this is my second review (I’ve never left two reviews for absolutely anything). The app is good but the widgets and the Watch complication is just USELESS. The information provided is outdated 9 times out of 10. Now they’ve deleted the Flight Clip that I created for only the airports I fly to! The location tracks is absolutely atrocious and the widgets are Watch take forever to update to your new location (I drive a lot all over west Texas for work) even if you physically open the app. All-in-all, it’s cool looking and flashy. All best, Oliver ### 3/5 — Great but needs bug fixes *2024-05-03* The app works great, however occasionally it will need to be reinstalled and redownloaded due to it freezing, not refreshing, not displaying data etc. ### 4/5 — Widgets not refreshing after recent app update *2024-04-01, version 10.0.7* Most recent app update seems to have killed Home Screen widgets’ ability to refresh their info. Stick to Foreflight! ### 1/5 — No metars or taf available. *2026-07-26, version 26.3.3* Literally the 2 things it advertises are unavailable. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2026-04-19* Latest update crashes before it opens. ### 1/5 — ATIS does not fit on watch screen *2026-02-08, version 11.7* Overall disappointed. I’m a professional aviator and bought this for my watch face to check the atis quickly. It doesn’t fit on the watch face and they haven’t fixed this. I will cancel my subscription and may request a refund as it is not usable. ### 1/5 — Not recommended *2025-02-27* Most of the useful features are locked behind a subscription. I previously purchased a lifetime pro version of this app specifically for the widget functionality. This worked great before, but it is no longer included in the pro version I purchased (the lifetime pro version now shows as a legacy version in the app and requires a subscription to use widgets again.) I would not recommend this app given their business tactics of charging extra for features you already paid for. **Developer response:** Hi, Thanks for your review. All features that were available when you purchased the legacy version will remain permanently active for you as long as they are supported. The Today Widget functionality that was available in older iOS versions was deactivated by Apple at some point. However, Home Screen widgets (which are a different feature and can be placed anywhere on your Home Screen) have always been part of the subscription. They don’t say before the purchase that DAtis are not available out of the US. This app is of no use to me. aero weather works just as well **Developer response:** Hi, sadly there is no public access to DATIS outside of the US so far. Best, Oliver ### 1/5 — Another victim of modern “marketing” *2024-04-17* Just because some 23 year-old kid’s marketing textbook said you can charge people a subscription for anything, doesn’t mean you should. At what point will we realize that maybe our morals are more important than profiteering with these ridiculous pricing models? Starting when I first found the apps years ago, to today with my current position at a flight school. FR24 is always on!! my phone, mac, watch its my go to for a brief wx report. thank you! ### 5/5 — Great Widgets *2025-05-07* I’ve been using the app for a couple years. It’s a great visual way to interpret METAR data, optimized for iOS. In the latest update, the widgets change background colour to reflect day/night/sunrise. It’s a small thing, but brings great situational awareness when you have multiple stations displayed. I love this app and will subscribe forever. **Developer response:** Thanks for your kind review! Glad to hear you like the new feature 😊 Oliver ### 5/5 — Much improved *2025-03-24* I first came across this app several years ago when it was really bad (e.g. long outdated runway numbers, runway recommendations with tailwind, etc.), but this app has evolved quite a bit. It provides a METAR complication to the Apple Watch that is faster and much more configurable than Foreflight’s extremely limited and buggy Watch app - kudos! The iOS app is also very good, although there Foreflight typically covers everything as well. One wish for the complication: Please include raw METAR as an option.
