### 2/5 — Feels old school

*2026-07-08, version 6.2.41*

The app seems okay but just feels very dated.

### 3/5 — Expiration?

*2026-06-01, version 6.2.38*

I purchased the App over 4 years ago. Now it won’t let me restore my purchase. Selecting “restore” won’t reactivate the App unless I buy a subscription.

### 4/5 — App doesn’t update (updated)

*2026-04-06, version 6.2.32*

Updated.
Support is excellent. Messaged them from the app and had a response an hour later and was able to fix the issue.

I had the app when it was free and came back for the tracking and comparison features but the app doesn’t update.
It’s when me at 64% charge for weeks now. Shows my last charge date as Feb 27, today is April 5.
Today I updated my software and 2 hours later, the app hasn’t updated.
If those obviously things aren’t correct, all of the comparison data is suspect.

### 3/5 — Daten fehlen

*2026-03-29*

### 1/5 — Make Sure You Revoke API Access!

*2026-03-17, version 6.2.30*

I also got burned by this developer. Make sure you revoke API access to this dev in your Tesla app under Security & Privacy. Otherwise, they can likely still pull all of your cars statistics

### 1/5 — Bait and switch

*2026-03-10, version 6.2.28*

Paid fully for app and now cannot use any features as I am now being asked for subscription. Do t waste your money.

### 2/5 — $250 app that could stop working and ask you for more money

*2026-03-02, version 6.2.28*

At $75 this was already the most expensive app purchase plus some additional in-app purchases, and now it requires subscription or another big purchase of $250 or you lose all functionality you paid for.

While I understand that API cost has changed I think it’s reasonable to expect the app to still provide some functionality even at reduced capacity for the paying customers. I lost my $100+ and will never do one time purchase. App has great functionality so subscribe if you need, but don’t trust ‘life time purchase’ because that’s not guaranteed.

### 1/5 — scam

*2026-02-15, version 6.2.28*

bought this app now they want even more money. broken. “lifetime” does not mean you get it forever, be warned.

### 1/5 — Don’t buy it

*2026-02-12, version 6.2.27*

I I have this app since July 2020 developer now wants to charge me $250 more for the app access. They have blocked the app and nothing I can do originally I paid a lot of money for this app and it’s useless now. I don’t know how even Apple allows doing this stay away. They will Continue asking you more and more money for nothing.

### 1/5 — Security issue

*2026-02-12*

i purchased this app over six years ago and I found it to be well designed and refreshingly easy to use. 5*

I am however, now unable to get this app to open unless I grant it full access to my Tesla account which not only includes full control of my vehicle, which is not necessary, and my home power system, which is not relevant.
it’s not possible to delete or bypass the pop-up window requesting access to my Tesla account, hiding the app data beneath - so rendering it unusable. With regret I have deleted the app and now use another.

### 1/5 — Paid user blocked?

*2026-01-27, version 6.2.26*

It is blocked requires subscription

### 1/5 — Subscription now required

*2026-01-24, version 6.2.26*

Bought app when new. Now useless without a subscription.

### 1/5 — Original subscribers

*2026-01-04, version 6.2.25*

I am writing as an original early subscriber who purchased lifetime access to your app with the clear understanding that it meant long term use without having to pay again.

Now you have moved to a subscription model and are asking lifetime customers to pay again. I understand costs change and APIs can get more expensive, but shifting that burden onto the people who funded and helped grow the app from the beginning is not acceptable.

Here is what I am asking for:
	1.	Honor the lifetime access purchase and restore my access without requiring an ongoing subscription, or
	2.	If you can no longer honor lifetime access, refund the original lifetime purchase amount.

If you have a new tiering structure, I am open to reasonable options that keep lifetime customers whole, for example a grandfathered plan or a permanent credit that equals the value of what we already paid. But asking lifetime customers to start paying monthly again is not fair and feels like you are charging twice for the same promise.

Please confirm which option you will provide and the steps to resolve this. If you need my purchase details, I can share the email and transaction receipt.

If this is not resolved by honoring the lifetime access purchase or refunding the original lifetime amount, we will report the issue to Apple through the App Store because this is a paid feature change that removes what was originally sold to early customers.

To be clear, I am asking for one of these outcomes:
	1.	Restore lifetime access without requiring a subscription, or
	2.	Refund the lifetime purchase amount.

Please respond with your resolution and timeline for fixing this.

### 1/5 — Paid one for lifetime and now so bricked

*2026-01-01, version 6.2.25*

So started the app for which I already paid for “lifetime access” and it would do nothing without a newly introduced, excessive subscription fee-and ironically a “lifetime” option (for a mere quarter of a thou) again offered.

Considering this developer clearly defines “lifetime” as whatever he finds convenient, uninstalled with extreme prejudice.

How’s that go? “We won’t get fooled again.”

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Prepaid lifetime and got blocked

*2026-07-05, version 6.2.41*

I have purchased and prepaid for the lifetime service and when try to use their claiming that’s no longer available that I have to purchase again to obtain service . Be careful with this app as they do not honor commitment to the client.

### 1/5 — Changed terms

*2026-06-16, version 6.2.40*

My app unlock no longer works, developer changed how it works after purchase. I understand his costs went up but he wanted to leverage using the same app name without keeping the commitment of original purchases. This doesn’t feel right.

### 1/5 — Bait & Switch

*2026-06-11, version 6.2.40*

Was an expensive paid app, but now they demand a subscription to even use it. No refunds or discounts issued to legacy users.

Don’t trust this developer.

### 1/5 — Developer Scammed and locked out all old customers.

*2026-06-10, version 6.2.40*

What a scammer. I can’t believe he locked access to all the old data people already downloaded to their devices. I get blocking new reads but this just scammer behavior and Apple should really pull this app.

### 1/5 — Scam - No 7 day trial

*2026-04-24, version 6.2.34*

They charged me the $9.99 monthly fee immediately. No seven day trial. Buyer beware

### 1/5 — Lost purchase

*2026-04-13*

I purchased this app a few years ago and I now I can’t use any features. Please refund us.

### 1/5 — Early adopter abandoned

*2026-04-09, version 6.2.33*

I was an early adopter, I paid for this app only to be forced to pay again via subscription.

Classic bait and switch

### 1/5 — Was good but not anymore

*2026-03-29*

I really loved this app. The developer was responsive with issues and the app worked great. Paid for the app and now it has switched to a subscription so that payment gets you nothing. Zero stars

### 1/5 — Early adopter locked out.

*2026-03-25, version 6.2.31*

Apple should pull this app, and refunds should be given. A lifetime subscription should be that…period. A lifetime license should only have to be paid once. $250 to unlock years of my vehicle data. Curious how this plays out in a State like California if enough noise is made.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-03-24, version 6.2.31*

Paid for app, unable to use because developer revoked access unless I pay more money. Don’t waste your money the dev will do the same to you. This app was already expensive for what it was.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Every Tesla owner needs this

*2026-06-08, version 6.2.38*

Seriously, just download it. The native Tesla app is fine for basic stuff, but Stats gives you the actual deep-dive info you want. What I love most is that the app is never abandoned - the constant feature updates mean it’s always adapting to new Tesla firmware changes constantly. Plus, if you ever run into an issue, the developer actually responds to support emails right away. Can't recommend it enough.

### 5/5 — It’s cheaper than Tessie and better value in my opinion

*2026-05-18, version 6.2.36*

One time fee!!

### 5/5 — Best app for Tesla

*2026-05-05, version 6.2.35*

Amazing amount of usefull data at your fingertips, very intuitive to use,and the developer was very helpful during setup

### 5/5 — Best App for a Tesla!

*2026-04-24, version 6.2.34*

Full of great info but even more useful are the short cuts and controls. It makes the Tesla app look like it was built by amateurs!

### 5/5 — Great App, The Best Support

*2026-03-25, version 6.2.31*

The only third-party app you need for your Tesla. Well worth the price.

I’ve been a user of the Stats app for over 5 years. It offers interesting insights into the performance and health of your Tesla EV.

In particular, the battery health metrics for your car and comparisons between your vehicle and others with similar configuration and mileage. I use these to let me know when it may be time to do a deep discharge/recharge cycle to improve the estimates of battery capacity and mileage reported by my car.

And the quality and responsiveness of support for this App is the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere.

Whether you have questions about how to use the App, the data being reported, any other issue, you can send them a message directly from the App. The response is fast and always helpful.

It’s so consistently great, I wonder if Ramin ever sleeps!

Get it. You’ll like it!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-12-26, version 6.2.24*

I’ve been using this app since 2022. It’s a terrific complement to the Tesla app adding many important features. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Continues to be a great app with very responsive support

*2025-12-15*

I have been using the Stats app for over 2.5 years now (which was 1.5 months after purchasing our new 2023 Tesla MYLR) and I am providing an update on my experiences since I submitted a review 4 months after starting to use it

Overall, I love the familiar and new data the app has continued to provide, the responsiveness of the developer to questions, and the turnaround in fixes to identified problems in the app.

In particular the trips tracking and the battery health tracking are my most examined data. I take several annually recurring trips and being able to review the actual data from those trips in planning the charging stops for the current year's trips has been very helpful.

It continues to be a stable app which I greatly appreciate. As it relies on a continuous Internet connection during trips, it does lose some data from a trip segment when it loses that connection.

For example, in south-west BC, Canada when taking the ferry from mainland Vancouver to Vancouver Island (and return) and from Washington state crossing into Canada (but ironically not the other way around).

For anyone who needs trips tracking for their mileage expenses, this app does the job.

Also, the feature in the app to enable Sentry mode (which the Tesla app does not have; you have to enable it on the car's touchscreen) has been very helpful and reassuring when on a few occasions I forgot to enable it in the car and then used the Stats app to enable it.

Finally, given that battery health is one of the significant factors in purchasing a pre-owned Tesla, the volume of data that the app tracks on the battery health would certainly be valuable at the time the vehicle is sold.

I paid for the lifetime subscription and while it is the most I have paid for an iPhone app, I certainly have got significant value from the app's provided data and the great responsiveness by the developer. Given what we pay to purchase a Tesla, the cost of the app is worth what it and the developer delivers.

I highly recommend Stats for Tesla to anyone who has a Tesla and especially to those who are purchasing a new Tesla or a pre-owned one. Starting to use the app when you take possession of the car can be one of the most significant things you do for your Tesla.

### 5/5 — Long time user, great data

*2025-10-04, version 6.2.19*

Been using this for many years (since 2018!). They keep making it better, now with fun Apple Watch features.
I had some trouble recently on my end, their support was extremely fast, personal, and effective!

### 5/5 — Bring back time when charge completes

*2025-09-05, version 6.2.16*

I’ve had this app for many years and I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it. It continues to be more robust over time. The most recent update seems to have focused somewhat on aesthetics and there was a change to the section of the app that displays info about charging. It used to show what time it would be when charging completed and now it just shows how many hours and minutes remaining like in the Tesla app. I liked that it took away the clock math I had to do to figure out when charging would be done and I’d love to have that feature back.

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2025-08-10, version 6.2.14*

The developer is constantly updating this app with updates new features. Really loved the reminder to plug the car in. Developer is very responsive to questions typically same day. Love all the features. And the watch app is included.
