### 1/5 — Useless. Constantly crashing

*2019-03-08*

Can't load data. Worthless calculator if you can't load more than three numbers before crashing.

### 2/5 — Charge in app, not good idea!

*2012-10-20*

I need emergency to importdata! And do not have credit in my ID right now :(

### 1/5 — Data set mgt upgrade not worth anything

*2012-09-17*

Can't even tell how good this app is in practice as the only way to get data into it to type it in, despite having paid to import files. This should be fixed before charging for an upgrade. Also, sample data should be used to show capability.

### 5/5 — Excellent Statistics Package

*2012-07-27*

The TI 84, Casio Prizm, and Casio 9750 all have outstanding statistical capabilities. So does GeoGebra, the free international software for all computers. The apps in the app store have been limited. There are some good mathematics apps, and some good graphics calculator apps. But this is the first app I have found that begins to deal effectively with statistics. It really does a lot of things well. It handles distributions and hypothesis testing beautifully. I used to buy the CRC Handbook of Statistics, and this app covers much of that material. It does linear regression only, but I expect other regression models will be added. The handling of files is good if you spend the extra dollar. It's big strength is that you can make your statistical calculations anywhere, and email the results. None of the graphics calculators can do this. And, on the IPod Touch, it is really portable, and with you wherever you get a statistical idea. This is an extremely worthwhile app even if you use high powered software on your computer. In addition, formulas are given so that you don't just enter numbers and get mysterious results. It is an excellent app, well worth buying.

### 5/5 — Does statistical analysis

*2012-07-06*

Used it as a study tool for my stats class. Works great as a work tool, too.

It was money well spent.

### 3/5 — Graphing

*2012-03-07*

Would have liked to see the ability for even basic plot/graph capabilities. It would also be nice to condense the features a bit more. Handy tool, but I'll be going back to Minitab.

### 5/5 — Thankful!

*2012-02-27*

I could not have gotten through my graduate level stats homework without this app!

### 5/5 — StatsMate HD

*2012-01-16*

I teach statistics and I am new to the iPad. Imagine my surprise to discover a statistical calculator that my beginning students can use to learn stats in a much more enjoyable way. I recommend this app highly as it is simple to use and intuitive enough that even beginning stat students can use it. It is comprehensive enough to cover all topics covered in a beginning stats class and it is inclusive of data entry for data sets and imported data bases that it analyses. Well done!

### 3/5 — Hmmmmm

*2011-04-30, version 2.1*

Just spent 2hrs entering data for 160 cases for a straightforward linear regression (working away from home, thought I'd try using the iPad).

Data entry was slowed by a minor - but annoying - glitch. At the end of each line (each set of x,y coordinates), the screen scooches to the top of the screen and the keypad disappears. Which is fine when you're on line 16, but a bit frustrating by line 160.

Calculation looked fine, though (caveat emptor) I'd thought some kind of graph plotting / visualisation capacity came with the app. Clearly not.

After briefly exiting the programme to see if I could plot a graph using numbers, I re-opened the app (on fast app switching) to find all my data gone. And I hadn't made a note of the intercept / r values / etc. No obvious way to save datasets, either.

So, yeah, looks like it might be functional for someone needing a quick text output for a small dataset. I'm not convinced that it's up to anything more complex / suited to presentations. I'll be leaving owt else until I'm back home, with spss.

### 5/5 — Unbelievable

*2010-11-05*

I just got done using this app on my quantitative business analysis midterm and it was crucial. I also really loved the experience. I would love to see the graph and be able to download data sets but other than that, the new upgrade provides everything stat tools for windows does and more. Bravo.
