Password recognized 1/30, impossible to change it in the settings.... Would it be possible to have an application that does not have the promise of being a secure and functional messaging system or is it only a utopia? How is this application administered? By the feet?

Status’ recent re-launch of their app is definitely impressive.  The UI and UX have improved across the board, and it’s great to see a team put this much thought into a good crypto experience.

The watch address feature seems to have been removed.  I really liked this feature and hope it makes it back in a later update.  This also seemed to cause some migration problems when updating the app as it refused to open initially and I had to delete and restore from my seed phrase.  No issues on my end there… though as we know in the crypto world, others may not be as thorough!

So far Status is a great project. Though they have been in beta since 2017, they are a working progress. Would like to see the ability to share PDF’s and fix login bugs on the app. Face ID doesn’t work all the time and it takes a bit sometimes to load conversations.

I love the app and I love the project but there are too many issues.
After the last update some messages don’t get sent, sync is impossible - it doesn’t work. 
Messages sent on different devices just don’t appear on the others.
Adding someone on it takes a lot of time and it’s hyper-buggy, Notification Center is still full of bugs.
And last but worst of all: CHATS DISAPPEAR, they just are not to be found until some minutes later.. this is insane for a messaging up.
Do something about it, I really believe in this project.

Updated the Status app two days ago, and found the app is frozen, even after waiting for many hours. Updated my iPhone to iOS 15.8.3 today and the Status app is still frozen.

Ich habe die App nun mehrere Monate auf Herz und Nieren getestet. FAZIT: (In Sachen Datenschutz volle Punktzahl.) Grundsätzlich eine tolle Idee. Nicht wirklich alltagstauglich, da GasFee einfach zu hoch ist auf ETH. Somit wird der ENS und auch der Transfer zwischen Freunden eigentlich unattraktiv. Was mich jedoch am meisten stört! Ich habe die Wallet interessehalber auf drei Geräten laufen. Alle drei Geräte zeigen unterschiedliche Kontostände an. Die Anzahl der Coins ist überall gleich. Der Wert der Coins hingegen nicht. Hierbei geht es nicht um Kleinstbeträge, sondern um über 100€ Differenz. Ich habe auch noch nicht herausgefunden, wie man die Wallet connected, zB wie Metamask, um einen Presale zB zu tätigen. Ein Dutzend Wallets werden im STATUS-eigenen Browser angezeigt. STATUS allerdings nicht. Luft nach oben ist also noch deutlich. Nachtrag 02.04.24 Die Fehler häufen sich… SUPPORT ist nicht vorhanden, auch nicht auf DISCORD. Schade, denn es soll ja einen Nachfolger geben. Keine gute Werbung. 
01.05.24 ALLE Assets werden mit 0 angezeigt. Wallet ohne jede Funktion. Kein SUPPORT, keine Infos auf der Homepage.  ICH HATTE NUR EINEN STERN VERGEBEN:) DREI WERDEN ANGEZEIGT:))
