## What is Staxi?

Whenever you need a taxi in the Amsterdam area, order a taxi with just one click. The GPS in your smartphone knows exactly where you are, so you don’t have to give in the exact address. Also, you can follow the taxi live on the map, so you’ll know exactly at what time the taxi will be there. 

You can easily log in with either your social media account or connect through your e-mail address. In your Staxi profile you can save your house address for extra convenience.

No cash? No problem! Pay simply and safely through the Staxi app. Select your preferred payment method and pay with your phone. After you entered the address of your destination, you will automatically get the price for this ride. Fixed price, no surprise! All your previous rides will be logged in ‘My rides’.

Taxi arrived on time and it was a cheap flat price! Amazing. We scheduled it for a early morning pickup to the airport from our random apartment location in the city center and the driver found us and called when he arrived in front.

Once you hit “pick me up” you get a quote for the flat price taxi without commitment - the other user who reviewed the app seems like they did not hit the button for the price. I do suggest the developers change the button to say something else. Other than that, it’s a great app that gets the job done!

Very basic app, no way to check prices. Only option is to set pick up location and then click “come pick me up”, but I don’t actually want a taxi, I just want to enter a destination and see the costs before I request a taxi. I guess you will get a taxi driver and tell them where you’re going?

Also only payment method available is credit card, which not many people have.
