### 5/5 — Amazing resource...

*2014-09-10, version 1.0*

I have to start by saying that an app like this is long overdue within the UK!

This app is an amazing toolset that can help those who might be having problems, and also for anyone looking to help or to detect signs in someone who might have thoughts of suicide or similar.

I feel everyone can find something useful within this app irrelevant of their gender (as males traditionally tend to 'bottle things up') and end the whole taboos and stigma around this subject, and ultimately get everyone talking (positively).

### 1/5 — Downloaded but it won’t load

*2024-10-08, version 3.31.5*

Cannot access the downloaded app

### 1/5 — Pictures

*2022-02-06, version 3.18.0*

Pictures disappearing from lifebox

### 1/5 — Continuous Crashing

*2020-11-25, version 3.5.0*

Can’t even access it without the app crashing

### 1/5 — Left me alone

*2020-11-13, version 3.5.0*

It’s been upgrading for months now, can’t access the app when I need it. Loved it but would have to delete all my data to get it back. I always try but am left at lowest points

### 1/5 — Pretty basic

*2019-04-24, version 1.14.0*

I doubt this app is of much use to anyone with a serious mental health problem but it offers some good basic advice

### 2/5 — A good start

*2018-09-28, version 1.5*

I like the idea of this app. I was disappointed that there were a fair few links that don’t work. It would be nice to have the plan more customisable too.

### 3/5 — Good but age restrictions

*2020-11-23, version 3.5.0*

This is a good app for mental health and stuff but the age restrictions should be lowered as I’m 13 and have had depression since I was 11 and I know for a fact many primary school children have depression but adults put it off cause they’re kids. This is why the age restrictions should be lowered, so that kids can get the help they’re needing as well. Apart from that this is good 😁

### 4/5 — Some excellent resources, needs improvement

*2021-03-24, version 3.12.0*

I was recommended by a mental health nurse to download this app following a suicide attempt. I have used all of its features, including the life box and the safety plan and the many links to helplines, web chats and other helpful sites. It’s very simple to use, and not at all complicated or overly colourful - as that can be off-putting and frustrating when you’re in a dark, low mood. If I feel myself on the brink of a crisis again, I know I can use the advice available on the app, or contact one of the many helplines or organisations it lists. It also gives me a place to put other personal contacts I can go to for help. The breathing exercise is also good for a simple inhale-exhale thing you can do when it all gets too much.

As for improvements, perhaps certain pages on the app could be quicker and easier to reach in less clicks. The design could do with a smoother update. And it could have more options to customise the app to meet the specific needs of each user - e.g. easily available resources on a particular issue that the user can put on their homepage, whether it’s addiction or self-harm or bipolar, etc.

### 4/5 — Age Restriction

*2020-10-10, version 3.1.0*

The App itself is brilliant. Full of information you need in a time of crisis.

Unfortunately more and more people are becoming depressed. In my 20 years of being alive I’ve heard of Atleast 7 incidents where children in primary school have committed suicide.

This is really disturbing. I hope that the age restriction can be lowered as many young people who have committed suicide at such a young age are not able to get help from people close to them (not all but some)

Mental health is a BIG issue! Covid-19 is impacting people of all ages and this really needs to be addressed. Instead of being left to worry in fear and uncertainty, lets make a difference in mental well-being.

Stress is one of the number one causes for health issues, including weakened immune systems. Improving our overall health will have outstanding results.

Great app overall! Just wish the age restriction was lower or unrestricted so anyone can use this.

### 5/5 — Great app

### 5/5 — Would give more stars!

*2022-06-25, version 3.22.0*

I cannot recommend this app highly enough. It goes beyond safety plans and breathing/grounding exercises to be pretty customisable. I love the LifeBox feature, where you can put photos, files, and videos that are meaningful to you. I just wish I could change the order, as in the current version they stay in the order you add them.
