### 3/5 — No point to this app

*2026-07-24*

So this doesn’t let you cast from your phone to the hotel TV, just serves as a remote. But there’s a remote already in the room. There’s no reason for this whatsoever. We need to be able to cast…

### 3/5 — It was alright

*2026-05-29*

I wanted to connect to Crunchyroll, so I could watch Apothecary Diaries, but unfortunately it didn’t do what I thought it would.

### 1/5 — Pointless

*2025-12-24*

Call it useless who needs their phone to use a hotel remote I thought I was gonna get something that shared my screen to the tv

### 1/5 — Never works at all!

*2025-12-24, version 1.1.1*

It doesn’t work at all
It is impossible to connect with code from TV. I spent 1:30:00 min to connect but nothing happened! App doesn’t work!

### 1/5 — Basic limited remote and horrible casting

*2025-12-05, version 1.1.1*

Not worth it. Junk.

### 1/5 — Why?

*2025-11-22*

My main complaint is basically if the place you’re staying has this as an option , you basically can’t Change the input on the TV and are restricted from connecting your own devices to the TV. The app doesn’t let you change input, you can’t control volume, or anything else other than a channel. App is useless and I don’t understand its purpose. Like oh I forgot the controller on the seat, but I’m in bed? I guess I can change the channel?

### 1/5 — Garbage but you have no choice.

*2025-11-09, version 1.1.1*

Absolute garbage app required by hotels that are either too stupid or too greedy to give guests a normal streaming experience. Don’t bother and just stream it on your phone.

### 1/5 — Zinji sharmout app

*2025-10-30, version 1.1.1*

Bullcrap app false advertising as chromecast all it does is let u control channels and volume. Shame on you ceasers… billion dollar company can’t provide good service for guest

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-10-17, version 1.1.1*

Should be simple, type in the code and hit connect to connect. Connect lights up after accepting terms and then the button does nothing. Does not connect, no error, you press it and nothing happens. I don’t know how this even gets pushed through testing because it’s one function does nothing.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-10-07*

This program does not work. I tried three different codes

### 1/5 — Peloton App Icon ripoff?

*2025-09-25, version 1.1.1*

Not sure how this icon relates to StayConnect at all.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2025-09-25, version 1.1.1*

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-09-07, version 1.1.1*

I’ve clicked the agreement and entered the code from my tv. When I click the button to connect nothing happens.

### 1/5 — Terrible functionality

*2026-02-16*

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2026-02-01*

Works as advertised. You pick the channel by name, i.e. History channel. Not the show that is playing.

### 5/5 — It Does What’s Advertised

*2025-12-29*

People need to stop rating this app based on what they want it to do, and rate it based on its performance relative to what it’s supposed to do.

This app is simply a replacement for your hotel room remote control. It does make it easier to see what channels are available and adjust the volume. It doesn’t offer any other functionality.

In fact I was able to use the app without even being on the hotel Wi-Fi. So that’s actually cool.

All in all it’s a very basic app that has one job and it does what it’s supposed to do very well. Just because it doesn’t do what you think it should do isn’t a reason to rate it poorly.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-08-28*

Used the app at Ceaser Atlantic city and worked at expected. Im not a fan of touching hotel remotes.

Note: this is not meant to cast.

### 5/5 — Ignore the other reviews

*2025-07-22, version 1.1.1*

This app is good, I don’t know why there are a lot of dumb reviews. While it is just a remote, the app is fast and has no lag. It does the job and is honestly a lot easier to use than hotel remotes.

### 5/5 — Does what it says

*2025-05-11*

This app is NOT intended to cast your device to the TV. This app works as a remote control for your hotel room’s TV using your device. It provides a convenient list of available channels. For programming info, it is still necessary to use the physical remote control and view the on-screen guide.

### 5/5 — Idk what the other people making bad reviews are yapping about

*2025-01-04, version 1.0.0*

Ts is used so that hotels do not have to be forced to make contracts with companies like netflix or hulu. And also they must be grandma’s or smt cuz the controls are very easy, you simply press the ‘broadcast’ to tv button on which ever at ur using (netflix for example) and it will broad cast it perfectly fine. Works exactly like a remote control would and works for, what I believe, is every streaming or entertainment platform.

### 5/5 — What Else do you need?

*2024-10-14, version 1.0.0*

Listen, this app does exactly as it said it’s supposed to on my TV here at the Horseshoe Las Vegas.
Power/ Volume/ Channels
If you’re trying to do anything else like AirPlay or Screen Share your TV is probably outdated like mine is here.

### 5/5 — worked as described

*2024-08-17, version 1.0.0*

Aug 2024, Grand Hyatt Wash DC…
This did what the App Store description said it would do, seamlessly in our case. What benefit it provides in lieu of the TV remote, I haven’t a clue 🤷‍♂️. Feels like a waste of time.

The only problem we encountered is that Hyatt gives guests the impression you can ‘cast’ with this app…you can’t. Hyatt also utilizes Google Chromecast and unfortunately, on this evening, it isn’t connecting.

### 5/5 — Easily cast to my hotel room TV

*2024-06-05, version 1.0.0*

I didn’t use the remote features, but I did easily cast content from my streaming apps to the hotel room TV (great!).

To cast simply open your streaming app of choice (Netflix, etc), hit the cast button but select “Chromecast” (not Airplay).

### 5/5 — This works on a chromecast enabled tv

*2024-05-03, version 1.0.0*

I followed their instructions and was able to watch Prime, Tubi and Netflix on my hotel tv. The tv has to be set up to recognize Stayconnect. Performed flawlessly.
