SYNC

• Turn on sync to keep your presets, setlists, instruments, practice history, reminders, and custom tunings up to date across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• Everything is stored in your own iCloud. No accounts, no servers of ours, and no tracking.
• Reinstall the app or switch to a new device, and your practice data will be restored from iCloud.
• Sync stays off until you turn it on. Steady will ask you once, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings.

METRONOME

• The metronome now feels smoother and holds the tempo you tap in far more accurately.
• You can now set the tempo by tapping the large tempo number, with a brief confirmation on every tap.

TUNER

• Nine built-in tunings: Standard, Drop D, Drop C, Drop B, Half-step down, Full-step down, Open G, Open D, and DADGAD.
• Create your own tunings: hold a string, edit each note, and save the tuning under any name.
• Switch tunings with the picker or swipe anywhere on the screen. Hide the ones you don't need from the tuning library.
• When a string lands in tune, the note lights up and optional sound and haptic feedback let you know instantly.
• Choose your in-tune sound: Pluck, Marimba, or Ding.
• Readings are steadier, and optional proximity haptics pulse faster as you approach the target note.

PRACTICE & DATA

• Active sessions now survive closing the app. They return paused, without counting the time you were away.
• Add your instrument on the spot when Steady offers to track a session, even if you haven't set one up yet.
• Export your songs, setlists, instruments, history, reminders, and custom tunings into one backup file, and restore everything when needed.

Also included: smoother animations at up to 120 Hz, seamless tuning navigation, UI refinements, and fixes throughout the app.
