## What is Steady Reminders?

Steady is a reminder that behaves like an alarm clock.

Not a notification you scroll past. It rings through Silent and through Focus, it stays on the screen, and it doesn't go away until you actually answer it — I took it, Snooze, or Skip. That's the whole idea, and everything else in the app exists to serve it.

WHAT YOU CAN PUT IN IT

• Medication — a pill, drop or shot at set times
• Movement — sets, walks, stretches
• Hydration — water and food through the day
• Tasks — one thing, once, then it's gone
• Habits — something you're building
• Anything else you keep forgetting

IT KEEPS ASKING

Most reminder apps fire once. If you're asleep, in the shower, or your phone is face-down on a table, that's the end of it. Steady books the follow-up rings in advance, so it comes back whether or not the app is running — and stops the moment you answer, from the alarm screen, the Today list, or anywhere else.

SET IT UP IN ABOUT A MINUTE

Pick a type, name it, choose times — once, at set times, or on a repeat through the day. Reminders before 9 AM ask you to confirm you really want waking. Quiet hours hold anything due overnight until morning rather than dropping it.

A RECORD YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE

Steady keeps every check-off and every dose change, with dates. Export it as a PDF to print or hand to a doctor, or as a backup file the app can read back — so "what dose was I on three years ago" has an answer, on a new phone or after a reinstall.

WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES

Steady keeps your reminders and logs on this phone. There is no Steady server, so they are never uploaded, sold, or read by us. If your iPhone backs itself up to iCloud, it includes Steady's data in that backup the same way it includes every other app's — that backup is Apple's and yours, not ours.

Steady is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist about your medication.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 3.0.1 — 2026-09-09

Two fixes for things that were harder than they should have been.

SNOOZE NOW OPENS. On the alarm screen, tapping Snooze did nothing at all — the sheet never appeared. It works now. And when two reminders are due at the same moment, snoozing one no longer quietly silences the other.

MORE ROOM TO SET A REMINDER UP. The save button used to sit on top of the keyboard, covering the fields you were still filling in. It now sits at the end of the form. The keyboard has its own Done button, and scrolling puts it away, so you can see every option while you type.

### 3.0.0 — 2026-09-08

Steady used to be for medication. It's now for anything you keep forgetting.

SIX KINDS OF REMINDER — medication, movement, hydration, tasks, habits, and anything else. Each one rings like an alarm, not a notification: through Silent, through Focus, and it stays on screen until you answer it.

IT WON'T GIVE UP ON YOU. If an alarm rings out while your phone is face-down or you're asleep, Steady schedules the next ring in advance rather than waiting to notice. It keeps chasing an unanswered reminder for an hour, and stops the instant you mark it taken, snoozed or skipped — from anywhere in the app.

TWO THINGS DUE AT ONCE now share one alarm and each ask for their own answer, instead of one of them quietly disappearing.

QUIET HOURS ACTUALLY MEAN IT. Anything due inside your window waits until it ends — repeat rings included — and the reminder isn't dropped for having been quiet. A snooze you set yourself still rings when you asked.

KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. Every reminder shows how much of today is done — 4 of 8 — with a row per time you can tick off.

YOUR RECORD, KEPT. Export everything as a PDF for a doctor, or as a backup file Steady can read back on a new phone. Restoring only ever adds; it never deletes or overwrites what's on your phone.

TRAVEL AND DAYLIGHT SAVING are handled deliberately now, rather than by accident.

### 2.0 — 2026-06-15

This update makes it easier to see your medications and stay on track:

   • Browse any day — new arrows on the home screen let you look back or jump ahead to see what you've taken and what's coming
   up.
   • Fix a missed check‑off — forgot to log a dose from an earlier day? You can now mark it as taken after the fact.
   • Always know what's next — on days with nothing scheduled, Steady now shows your next upcoming dose and when it's due.
   • All your meds in one place — your profile now lists every medication with its status (Active or Paused) and the next
reminder time, and you can tap any one to view or edit it.
