I was only complaining about needing a mech to play the campaign but needing to play the campaign to get the mech so i was stuck. I was an endgame. All the ai brain upgrades. The human-made art felt more genuine, and the new style feels less sci-fi and more “YouTube kids/chibi”. I do like that the skill tree still exists but it’s still jarring. AI steals from real artists so seeing AI art in a game like this with such an original concept feels disingenuous. I also don’t like the “choosing which power you want” in the middle of the rounds. Makes the rounds feel easier and much less unique. Also, I liked when the game had more complex, unique designs, especially for the…whatever things the robots hatch out of, I guess? I also liked when you regenerated over time when standing still without having to come upon it as a power by chance. I also liked the crates giving you something specific instead of them just becoming medkits.
