Being a seconds player in NY, I primarily used this app to practice on my phone on my way home from work on the train. I would pull up recordings and play on the app along with recordings in my headphones. Now the app is almost three times that price and simple things like play alongside music you can no longer do on iPhone. I learned to get over it eventually but the whole “steelpan professor” sub-menu appears and nothing can be selected. The arrows next to “Pan” are forever greyed out and cannot be selected. And I have the most updated version of the app and am on iPhone 11 Pro with the most updated iOS. I give it props for having most available pans (if rocket pan can be added too that would be amazing). And the sound response time is still unmatched. But for this money, especially when most other phone apps try not to pass $10 USD, I would expect at least all the buttons to work. Apple have rules which is changing on a daily basis and because you can’t play along to your music like before ( #1 Steelpan App ) everyone automatically assumes it’s the developer fault.
