SteelX turns your iPhone into a stocktaking tool for tube and pipe. Point the camera at the end of a bundle and SteelX counts it. Log what you find into a session, capture the label, and send a finished report before you leave the rack. COUNT A BUNDLE FROM A PHOTO Take a photo or pick one from your library and every tube cross-section is detected and numbered. Tap to add a tube the detector missed or remove one it double-counted, then pinch to zoom in and check the edges. Counting runs on the device — no upload, no waiting on a connection. INVENTORY SESSIONS Group stock into sessions: a warehouse bay, an incoming delivery, a monthly stocktake. Each line records product number, grade, material, outer diameter, wall thickness, length, heat number, bundle number and quantity. Running totals for pieces and kilograms update as you go. Search across every session and item, and archive what you have finished with. SCAN THE LABEL INSTEAD OF TYPING Hold the camera over a tube label and SteelX reads the product number, grade, OD, wall thickness, length, heat number, quantity, weight, metres, bundle number and delivery note number straight into the form. MEASURE ON SCREEN Hold the phone against the tube end and drag the OD and ID guides to the edges. The ruler is calibrated to real millimetres on your device, and gives you outer diameter, inner diameter and wall thickness at once. Switch between millimetres and inches anywhere in the app. WEIGHT CALCULATOR Enter OD, wall thickness and length for kilograms per metre and total weight, across ten materials — carbon steel, stainless 304, 316, 321, 904L, duplex 2205, super duplex 2507, aluminium, copper and titanium. EXPORT AND SEND Export any selection of sessions as Excel, CSV or a formatted PDF, and share it through mail, messages or any app on your phone. Annotated count images export too, so the photo and the number stay together. BUILT FOR THE YARD English and German throughout. No account to create, no sign-in, nothing sent to a server — your data stays on your device. No ads and no tracking, ever. SUBSCRIPTION SteelX requires a SteelX Pro subscription at €1.00 per month. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation. If you adjusted a count — adding a tube the detector missed, or removing one it double-counted — Recents saved the original detection instead of your corrected number.
