## What is Steinau BlueSecur?

Operate devices compatible with BlueSecur using the Steinau BlueSecur app.

You can send permissions (keys) to family or friends, for example, via text message, e-mail or messenger. You don’t even have to be home to send a key, since keys are transmitted via a certified server in Germany. Manage your keys right in the app.

The BlueSecur app must be installed on your mobile phone ahead of time. If a user hasn’t installed the app, they will be forwarded to the app store.


Information on the BlueSecur app:
-	Add a device by scanning the QR code.
-	Setup and operation do not require an Internet connection.
-	Permissions (keys) are created on the administrator’s app, can be issued either temporarily or permanently and can also be deleted.
-	Sets of keys are subject to a fee. One-time keys are free of charge.
-	Max. 250 users
-	Optionally, you can use an external antenna should you have range issues.

Using Bluetooth in the background of your mobile phone reduces its battery life.

Das Einzige was mir fehlt, ist eine Möglichkeit die Teilöffnung zum Lüften der Garage per App   zu programmieren, sodass man ein Zeitfenster eingeben kann in der das Tor automatisch auf und wieder zufährt. Bitte programmieren liebes Hörmann-Team.

vielen Dank für Ihre Rezension. Allerdings ist das, was Sie wünschen, eher ein Ansatz für den SmartHome Bereich. Die BlueSecur App würde für solch eine Funktion eine Verbindung über Bluetooth benötigen, Sie müssten also in der Nähe des Tores sein.

It works as expected but looks out of date (10 years old). It also costs 40€ to share the hey with others which is a joke.
And there is no automatic open function. It should be able to detect my position (gps) when driving. When I enter the geofence and the Bluetooth connects to the garage it should automatically open.
Unfortunately very rudimentary app

an automatically opening of the door is critically as an App can’t differentiate if you come near to the Door for opening or if You only walk or drive by.
The free key turns your cell phone into a free control device. Purchasing additional keys turns other cell phones into a cheaper handheld transmitter alternative. Als erstes muss ich sagen das die App ohne Probleme läuft. 
Dafür hätte es auch 5 Sterne gegeben. 
Was mich schockiert, dass ich bei einem App gesteuerten Tor (für viel Geld) nur einen kostenlosen Zugangscode für die App haben. Kundenbindung und Gewinnung sieht definitiv anders aus. Kostenlose Werbung von zufriedenen Neukunden gibt es so auch nicht gratis hinzu.

### 1/5 — Technisch sehr gut, dennoch nicht zu empfehlen

Die Funktion der App zum Öffnen und Schließen des Tores funktioniert sehr gut.

Wenn ich nun aber ein zweites Handy und damit eine weitere Berechtigung dazu fügen möchte, muss ich dafür 8,99 EUR zahlen. Dieser Fakt ist schlicht weg nicht in Ordnung und steht in keinem Verhältnis. Ich denke 0,99 EUR wären das Maximum und Stand der Zeit, weil die technische Umsetzung der APP/Funktion/Schnittstelle kein besonderes know how ist.

Schade, so verschandelt man sich einen guten Markennamen (die Technik an sich ist ja auch gut) nur weil wieder jemand meint, er müsse sich eine primitive Extrafunktion vergolden lassen.
