After reading the reviews here, I was really hoping for some deeper mechanics and more intense gameplay. As it is, it's fairly shallow. Fly around looking for more planets. Build buildings on those planets to earn currency stay away from mobs that are overpowered, take out the mobs that you can. The enemies don't have any bullet patterns to learn and have a handful of moves they'll do. Once you find and build on a few planets, move merchandise for extra currency. 
On paper, there's a TON of potential here, but the gameplay is just not engaging for me. If the actual dual stick space battles were thrilling, it'd probably be fairly fun to play. But as it is, I've got about 2 hours of gameplay out of it and I'm not sure if I'll come back to it for any meaningful length of time or serious thoughts of trying to complete (or come as close as I can to completing) the game.
I do wish it would have sold better and the developer could have spent more time expanding and tweaking things, because, as I said, there's a TON of potential here. Hopefully future games from this dev (or dev team? I don't know) will be released in the AppStore 'cause there's clearly talent here and I'd love to see what they might be able to do in the future.
