We have have invested well over 200k in Arri lighting and now we have to pay for this app. We just took delivery of our Arri Orbitors and Aputure lights and the Aputure App is free not leaving a negative feeling in our gut. 
We have a range of Arri LF and other Arri products but in future we may have to 
re-think. Arri you have to be kidding us. 
Please revise.

Seriously, we spend over a hundred thousand on lights and you want to charge and extra AU$149 a year per user to control them from a phone. Get a grip.

I’ve never felt more ripped off by an app before.. I purchased this app to control some skypanels that were in the grid of a studio and it didn’t work. The studio couldn’t figure it out and we deleted the app before going home.. now a year later I notice I’ve paid 12 months subscription for an app that’s not even installed.. I’ve never been more insulted by both Apple and what I use to regard as my favorite cinema company, Arri.. rip.

Unfortunately Stellar cannot automatically cancel the subscription for you when the App is uninstalled, this can only be done by the user in the App Store. However, it would be interesting to know why the app didn't work out in the first place, though. You can contact me via lightingapp@arri.com.

Not comfortable adopting a wireless DMX system without having a thorough understanding of how it’s working and how to troubleshoot it when problems arise; and when it comes to using the 2.4Ghz spectrum in a real production environment, they often do.

Also, disappointing the app is not a more generalized DMX control console and instead appears geared only toward using Arri equipment. I virtually never put in a rig where I need DMX control and only use Arri lighting fixtures. Lighting control for me needs to be unified, not separated amongst multiple disconnected controllers.
