## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Critically flawed

*2018-11-06*

The game has ads of 12 year olds twerking. The gameplay is stale, shields don’t recharge and the thumbstick is too close to the edge of the screen. Most of the ships are stolen directly from Sci-Fi shows and movies, such as Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Firefly.

### 3/5 — It’s cool, but…

*2022-09-07*

I started playing after I saw the developer also made StellarTrek. I really enjoy the game. It’s a lot more open and there’s more to do. There seems to be a sort of lore/story going on with the different factions and I dig it. I like the bases and planets, the feel of the movement and combat, as well as how open the sectors are. It’s a really good basis for a game that has otherwise been a bit underdeveloped. The core of the gameplay is defeating all enemies and bases in a sector to open the next jumpgate, and while being fun; it gets a little old after a bit. Especially considering there are 39 sectors in the game.

(Spoilers ahead)

The biggest complaint I have with the game is the ending. The ending is extremely underwhelming and solely consists of yet another “Sector Liberated” message but slightly different. There also isn’t anything to do after the ending other than to do some missions but that’s about it. I just think the game is missing substance. Other than that, its a very enjoyable classic 2D experience :)

### 3/5 — Gets old real quick.

*2018-11-04*

Too much repetition. Dialog is difficult to understand. Didn’t hold my attention.

### 3/5 — Stellar patrol

*2018-10-16, version 1.6*

Good most of the time but the ads that pop up sometimes cause my game to freeze plus every so often controls freeze but you can save

### 5/5 — Space fun!!!

*2025-08-19, version 1.6*

Having a great time upgrading my ship and dominating the galactic map! I’m enjoying the rewarding mission style and progression for ship upgrades!!

### 5/5 — controller????

*2024-10-18*

controller support would be a great addition for your game

### 5/5 — Niice

*2022-06-04*

The background radio chatter was a real nice touch.
Couldnt i be a Pirate though?
Thank you for this cool wingcammanderesk game.

### 5/5 — Tons of fun!

*2020-09-05, version 1.6*

A lot like Star Control, with the trading of Starflight. Great fun, I haven’t found any major bugs yet (save, then exit/kill and restart if the close radar & dialog boxes get too hard to hit the “X”), and the bonus “secret” pirates are neat and profitable. The ads aren’t even that annoying or frequent (and I hate ads). Two thumbs up, 10/10, 5 stars, you know... all good!

### 5/5 — Stellar Patrol

*2019-06-02*

In my opinion, this game is wonderful! Yes it may seem repetitive to some others but with these type of games it’s bound to be that way and all the other things about this game makes up for it. Also I saw some people complaining about how some ships are from sci-fi shows but come on... really? It’s not that big of a problem and plus, I like it and I think others do to. Please keep making games like this!!!! I love it!!!

### 5/5 — Arcade game!!

*2018-09-11, version 1.3*

Fun old fashioned space shooter, lots of fun!

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Super fun retro sci-fi

*2018-09-08, version 1.3*

Explore the galaxy and save it from the enemies lurking everywhere. Developer is really doing a great job

### 5/5 — Excellent top down space combat simulator.

*2018-08-21*

For those who like sci-fi and space exploration, and retroesk games. This is an excellent top down space combat simulator.

And this is a developer that cares for his clients and users and fellow Sci-Fi fans.
