Now I have not received a picture for the past 3 days and one day ladt week. I get a notification that Stellar is ready to download but nothing comes through. Is there a problem with the program or is something else happening. The photos I have received have been fabulous. Hope to continue receiving photos once this is fixed. 12/21/2023 This is happening again, I get a notification that a photo is ready to download but there is nothing there. I wait and wait but there is no download. This has happened twice this week alone. What's wrong with the APP. ### 3/5 — Photos not downloading *2023-06-07* Was working fine up until a few days ago. Additionally, the number of photos is rather limited. That said, for some bizarre reason, the author of the app has insisted on adding streaking lights moving across the every image. There are short paragraphs that describe what you are viewing and how it was created. What kinda drives me nuts is that I cannot save any of them. Seemingly simple function. Please add if you can. And if you really wanna be fancy, you could add “save as wallpaper” function for added convenience. It does nothing but irritate and annoy to the point that I feel like hitting delete just to get rid of them. The whizzy stars lost you two in my rating. My other apps work fine. ### 1/5 — Too many issues *2023-04-20* Way too many times does it tell me that I have a new picture, just for NOTHING to come up, because it claims I have zero internet, even though I am streaming at the same exact time. How can I not have internet if I am on Netflix and streaming fine? Broken garbage app really. Oh sure, I can shut every app and reboot my iPad and suddenly it appears, but it’s not worth it. U til this crap app is fixed, bye bye ### 1/5 — Ruined photos *2023-04-08* The photos would be absolutely beautiful if it weren’t for those ridiculous meteors flying across every last one of them, ruining the image. Unfortunately every photo has streaks of light that represent meteors darting about the photo. This is very distracting and rarely appropriate. Mr. Surma, please delete the streaks or give an option to eliminate the streaks. Update: those shooting stars or meteors or whatever the developer calls them are becoming so distracting that I don’t even want to open the app anymore. They ruin a pleasant viewing experience. Downgraded from four to two stars. Second update: the photos presented are beautiful! Because of the meteor streaks, I have found that I go days or even weeks before I even open the app. Downgrade from four stars to two stars to one star. I think I’ll delete the app and look for the photos elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2021-10-02* More often than not I see a big X saying NO DATA and telling me to check my internet connection and try again. Sometimes an older picture of the day magically appears. Sorry, I’m done. ### 1/5 — They need to change the name of the app. *2021-09-30* This should be called: “Photo when we feel like it” Last 3 days in a row there’s not been a new photo. I’ve only had it about 3 weeks and I’d say there’s been probably a week of no new photos. I’m glad I got this through App Advice for free or I would be really mad if I had paid for it. Absolutely do not waste your money on this. It apparently hasn’t even been updated in 2 years. I’m so disappointed! The app hasn’t worked for more than 4 days. I hope it hasn’t been abandoned! I can put up with the meteors just to get the gorgeous photos and information. PLEASE fix it!!!!! I was able to scroll back and look at past photos then the missed ones showed up.
