It’s just blank and displays what I planned but I can’t actually see any of the roads or anything else. ### 3/5 — Ok travel planner *2025-03-15, version 13.4.1* I’m new to this app and there are some really great things to discover here. It’s great for inspiration, community, sharing travel ideas with your travel buddy, and discovery. But it’s lacking a practical side of being able to build even a loose itinerary with what you find to do. It has a nice UI and the AI assistant seems pretty good. ### 2/5 — I miss the old Steller *2025-03-09, version 13.3.0* This app is a mess. Too much text, not enough visuals, not a clear focus on highlighting creators personal adventures, suggested posts/links have nothing to do with what you’re looking at, feels like there’s no one steering the ship over here. You would think that the clean, simple, former version of this social story telling app along with with the amount of other travel related apps out there to inspire Steller, they would be able to make it even remotely user friendly but no. Steller came up before IG Stories robbed the idea of swipeable storytelling and made it a smaller part of a bigger app. Steller 2014 was an app that was ahead of its time. Thanks. ### 3/5 — Minor bug with account creation using Twitter authorization *2024-02-27, version 11.2.1* Hello. There is a bug with the current (11.2.1) version of the Stellar app for iOS. The app provides an option to use a Twitter/X login to create an account. If the user backs out (cancels out) of the Twitter authorization login, the user will is sent back to an unresponsive Stellar app. The app freezes until it is manually restarted or deleted and then re-downloaded. This is very odd, as I have never seem this happen with any other iOS app. Canceling out of the Twitter authorization prompt is usually the first thing I do. I have never seen an iOS freeze the way the Steller app does. My Twitter account of @RandomiOSBugs tagged the @StellerStories account online. Please investigate this issue, thanks. P.S. the Steller app’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions links are not working on the Twitter authorization page either. ### 3/5 — Too Many Changes , *2024-01-13, version 11.0.2* I used to love this app, I still do …. Except for the inability to create stories, with more than one page. The format was far better when first created . It was much easier to use. Maybe it’s just me , but the changes make it harder to compose stories that allow for multiple pages as it used to. Also . I was locked out of my original story page , for which support was never able to help , making it u organized and harder to create. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Spam spam spam within five minutes of signing up *2026-03-21, version 13.20.1* I signed up for a Steller account and within five minutes of confirming my email account I was getting spam from them. By "spam" I mean entirely irrelevant information that I did not request, was not interested in, did not want, and that annoyed me. I deleted the app and blocked the sending email address. So, if you don't get enough irrelevant email, then you should get this app. Otherwise, don't. ### 1/5 — Kinda useless app *2025-04-21, version 13.5.1* Just lot of UGC, not much utility ### 1/5 — Limited Functionality *2025-01-27, version 13.1.0* You can do more on google if you are looking for recommendations. In terms of creating an itinerary and having all of your info in one spot, this isn’t the app. You can only add what’s offered in the app for stay, meals, etc. you can’t add your own info (airbnb location for example) or navigation info. Stick to a shared apple note. ### 1/5 — Very limiting and no support *2024-11-18, version 12.4.2* I am not sure what everyone is raving about. This is basically Instagram stories in a different box. In fact the “story” I published doesn’t allow me to change the speed of the slides nor does is allow for people to swipe to the next slide. And if it does then shame on this app for making it so user unfriendly. I would have contacts support but apparently they offer none. I could not find any where to contact support . And I couldn’t even find any support docs. I expected more from all the reviews. I think I will stick with Instagram. This is not even close to what everyone is raving about. ### 1/5 — Can't use it *2024-03-18, version 11.3.4* I created a stellar account years ago. Didn't use it much but I remember thinking it was cool. I came back to try after seeing an ad online that made it look different. But I can't login using my old login (fb) without it saying my email is already associated. I'm clicking login, not create account. So I guess it just isn't meant to be. Sad. I had high hopes. ### 1/5 — Major problems *2023-04-20, version 9.5.0* I’ve had major issues with this app from trying to create an account to trying to post my first post. It seems either something is wrong with their servers or with the app. The only way I have been able to get in was by using a VPN. Even then the functionality still isn’t there. Considering who built this app I find that very odd. ### 1/5 — So much hassle *2022-04-19, version 8.3.1* So I made an account on this years ago and have only recently discovered this and wanted to delete my account. I tried deleting it a few times and it kept saying there was trouble and to retry so I tried to delete it on my iPad to see if the device would make a difference. Had issues with logging into my account and made a new account by accident and have the same experience when trying to delete that account as well. Then downloaded the app to see if that would make a difference and every time I’d try to log into either account it would tell me either my username or password was incorrect or that my wifi was bad and I needed to get a stronger connection and try again. I haven't logged in for about a year and yet my account is viewable. None of possible emails (of 3) received any reset email. ### 1/5 — I hate the Insta format, change it back! *2020-09-19, version 6.0.3* When I first stumbled on this app, I was a love! A beautiful story book play this year short simple stories through photos and an economy of words would be ideal for sharing. Unfortunately, it has a ludicrous Instacrap format to it that you cannot control the speed in which to consume it. If I wanted IG, I would’ve just gone with the real thing, but since I am not 14, there’s no reason to go with it. Easy editing pics and up to 3 vids of max 15” on max 75 pages. Editing can happen in automatic mode. App works in every country I pass along: China, Saudi, India, Korea, Dubai, Doha and of course in the West. Used to have a good searching engine but no that good since the last few months. Easy rectification of stories further up.
