## What is Stellkurs?

Your ideal campsite. Perfectly positioned for the sun.

Stellkurs calculates the optimal orientation of your camper at the campsite – precisely, clearly, and directly on your iPhone. Instead of guessing, you see how the sun and shadows actually move throughout the day: on the map, with a compass, and right there on-site in augmented reality.

Whether you want sun in front of your camper in the morning, shade in the afternoon, or want to better align your solar panel: Stellkurs shows you how your camper should be positioned.

THIS IS WHAT STELLKURS CAN DO

• Calculate the optimal orientation for sun, shade, or a sensible compromise

• View the sun's path and shadows live on the map

• Display the sun's path at the campsite in AR mode

• Place your 3D camper and check the shadows directly on-site

• Guide your camper precisely using the live compass and alignment arrow

• Detect obstacles such as trees, buildings, or slopes

• Align your solar panel

• Align your satellite dish with supported satellites

• Use a spirit level for a level pitch

• Save campsites as favorites with notes

HOW IT WORKS

1. Search for a campsite or use your GPS location

2. Select the date and, optionally, the arrival time

3. Define the side of your camper

4. Choose your objective: sun, shade, or compromise

5. View the recommendation with direction, score, and day's progression

6. Align your camper using the live compass

7. Optionally, check the alignment directly on-site in AR mode

WHY STELLKURS? Stellkurs uses astronomical solar calculations instead of rough estimates. You'll receive a clear, easy-to-understand recommendation for your spot – for any location worldwide and any time of year.

OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
Sun calculation and compass work completely offline on your iPhone. No dedicated server, no cloud, no tracking. Camera data in AR mode remains on your device.
